Re: Eardrum injury any significant risk

I have a history of ear problems outside of kite surfing. I wear ear plugs in the water no matter what I'm doing. Back in 2012 I had a bad crash that blew out my right ear drum. I was already wearing ear plugs when this happened. Got extremely sick for about a month with an infection that resulted ...

Re: Learning to Waterstart - How much downwind pointing

Before diving the kite, the board is at right angle to the wind, maybe a bit downwind as I have the kite 12.30-13.00 at the opposite direction. The question is during the moment that the kite pulls you on the board, shall I direct the board more downwind? (as I typically do with the TT ) The progres...

I'm usually either pulled forward or the foil jumps. Some people advice that I should point more downwind some others tha...

Re: The Most Important Skill To Develop For the Entry & Future Kite Foiler

But the actual "onewheel" is waaaaayyyy better. Hi Matteo can you please tell us a bit more about that? Tried both? How do they compare? I wanna buy one but the onewheel here costs 3 times more and practically does not have any service or support. The trotter on the other hand is sold with 2 years ...

Re: Where to start?

Yes, as a first project I want to go as KISS as possible. Both materials and tools. (e.g. I'd rather wait for epoxy curing) What I think of doing is: 1) Get 2 or 3 of sheets of wood sized 135x45cm (2 or 3? How many mm? 3mm? What kind of wood? Where do I find it?) 2) Glue the sheets together, while ...
