Thanks for the comments on the issues with the sheathing buy my question was more about the length of the throw. Any more comments or input there?

I'm looking at buying one of these (used 2020 version on sale for 240 USD online at Real) as an all-around bar and one of the uses for it will be foiling with my Ozone Chrono V3 9m and Slingshot Ghost 7m. I'm a little concerned about the comment here regarding having a short throw as I've had issues...

I ride a Core XR3 and love it. I don't think all that much has changed in the subsequent models. Just keep in mind that Core bars have a high Y setup...different than the mostly industry standard low V. So if ever you want to buy another brand kite you'll probably have to buy another bar as well. Yo...

I think the argument over bar length affecting turning speed is due to semantics...both sides are correct depending on what you mean by "faster". As illustrated in the original post, a longer bar will cause the kite to turn/respond with less change in bar angle. I think this is what some are referri...

I would not mount below the Y. I've mounted above the Y and yes it is a bit far but still gave some good shots but was very shaky on the videos. A stabilizer should help.

Not sure if it's your problem or not but holding the edge as long as possible before liftoff can help prevent swinging too far underneath the kite.
