Re: Easy and cheap DIY wetsuit dryer

I found that the 5v USB powered fans weren't powerful enough to dry a wetsuit in cold weather (e.g. left out in a garage/shed) in a reasonable amount of time. You need the 12v fans for that. Correct 12v fan and put 12v or 20v on it with as much W as possible. Old phonechargers do that trick most of...

Re: Easy and cheap DIY wetsuit dryer

Yeah created something similar. Only with a PC fan, old phone charger as powersupply. Also used 2 hangers instead of 1 in order to spread the stretch load on the shoulders...these are the best!

Re: Kit is becoming too expensive

Rou Chatter wrote a very very interesting analysis last year about the subject https://www.iksurfmag.com/articles/issue78/how-much-does-it-cost-to-kitesurf/ According to him, the low prices of kites on the second hand market is killing the brands and encourage them to increase the price. Re: Lieuwe Shotgun Review

Thanks for your review! Never tried it before and would be great to demo it. I have owned almost whole range of Duotone boards - Select, Jaime, TS. Have tested more brands, but I never found the one. Select is a fun board, but it lacks pop. Jaime and TS are really fun to jump (unhook) and overall p...

Re: Clickbar red safety line end cap removal

In the original hack of the powerlines (thanks Foil) he sanded down the hole where the line enters the PU as otherwise the connections would not pass through the PU. Your fix does pass the PU tube in case you need to pull your safety? No modifications needed, a loop-loop connection in sk99 500 line...

Re: Clickbar red safety line end cap removal

That's awesome Evan, I was confinced you were the guy to take this up in your assortment! Are the tweaks to the PU line still required as mentioned above, or can you just replace your lines with this new set up of yours? what tweaks? Tested it on a stock click bar, only can't do the durability test...
