Re: Liquid force Impulse v Moses Onda 91

Well as it turns out you are in luck cause we own both of these setups. I run the Moses 683s on the t38 board and 91cm mast off the fluente. My wife has the galaxy board and the impulse cloud wings with 70cm and 90cm masts. Moses wins but I would happily ride both. Here's my simpleton take on the di...

Re: Running Splice Cleat

I'm struggling with the idea of riding without a safety flagging line. If shit happens do you just let the kite go?

Re: Seat harness better for foiling?

Results are in. They're awesome. Big difference. Recommended. Better than a rope slider? You got me there. I haven't tried a rope slider in 3 or 4 years so I cant reliably compare them. You would get even better angles on a rope slider though this thing is smooth, you dont even notice it pivoting. ...

Re: If you had to re-buy all your kites tomorrow, what would you get?

It's interesting how many freeride foilers are getting away with smaller kite sizes now. A year ago I bought 8m and 12m Souls. Now I have a 683s wing and a bit more skill and I wish I went for a 6m / 10m combo...

I just ordered the new 6m Peter Lynn nova so see how that goes!!

Re: sea anchor!

Slight high jack... what is the best technique to get a foil kite pointing upwards again when the wind is too light to reverse launch nor enough to pull one steering line and get a wingtip up and rotating? I'm talking less than 7-8 knots, bit of current in the direction of the wind I.e. without back...

Re: sea anchor!

I practised shallow water rescue a couple of times and deep water once. When the day came that I had to do it for real offshore it was a cinche. Carrying a little ruck sack to put the rolled up kite into is a good idea like in the first video but I just used my harness to clamp the kite. I agree tha...

Looking forward to seeing it. My wife is a patent attorney in Australia if you have some decent innovations you want to protect. Be warned, it's not cheap though... $10k just for Australian protection...

Re: Line Check FS Soul?

Well I use the ozone foil bar which only has one pigtail knot which is set to be an equal length to the centre lines pigtails.

However the foil bar has about 60cm of trim...
