Re: Simple hookless diy wing harness

Nice job! You did exactly as I'd hoped by taking the concept and adding your own creativity. Thank you for sharing! I encourage others to keep tweaking the Lazy Winger concept. :thumb: Daniel

Re: Tandem Kitefoiling Development

Very nice…thanks for the pictures. I imagine you ride toeside on your way back. How hard is it? I alone weight 240 pounds…my wife another 140. Please Tell us if anything special comes to mind on foot placement and warerstarts. Thanks! We ride some toeside, but it’s much harder tandem than solo. I’v...

Re: Tandem Kitefoiling Development

Thank you for the kind words. Suzy (not my daughter, she laughed) and I have a lot of fun riding together. People always ask her if she’s going to learn to kite, but she has no interest. She likes the foil dance we do together. Her motions make a difference, so we must work together. While I can usu...

I’ve windsurfed and kiteboarded for years, so when I first built and used the harness, I would have it take all the load when hooked in, like a typical harness. Now, I run the harness line a little longer, so I can easily shift between the harness...

This method works well on my WAM surfboard, too.

Re: Wing + mountainboard

I use the MBS Core 95 with white bushings, and I use the DT 6, 5, 4 Unit wings. Riding parking lots and sidewalks works well when the wind is light. Enjoy! :D

Re: Why a stabi, when wing foiling?

Kite foiling and wing foiling are different sports. In kite foiling, I love the snappy free feeling of the monofoil with a shorter mast. But in wing foiling, I love the hard driving carves of a long fuselage and longer mast. After spending many months winging my 55L board with the Neil Pryde surf wi...

Auto heater hose works great. And no clamps needed. Parts place will cut to desired length. :thumb:
