Re: Wing tip folding Rise and orbit

You may also move the backlines to a higher bar pressure setting (closer to the nose of the kite). This will help with the wing tips folding by moving the center of effort further from the tip.

Re: Why do my kite bladders blow out at the wingtip?

I had this problem once. Make sure you don't have holes in fabric of your strut/leading edge tips. These holes are typically made by dragging a kite across asphalt or something with the wing tips dragging.

If you have this, just stitch it back together.

Re: North launches all-new Code Zero Performance Foil Kite

I have a Kauper XT Maverick. Its a good kite, super light for a three strut. 12m. Gets a bit floppy when wet so don't drop it in the water. Thinking of selling it since I am likely moving to a foil kite.

Re: Lightest Surf/Free Ride Foil Kit?

The swing weight can be pretty substantial when hiking out or when it's digging into your shoulder.

What's the general weight rankings?

1. Ketos
2. Armstrong
3. Sabfoil
4. Axis

Re: Lightest Surf/Free Ride Foil Kit?

The board I have digs in pretty badly. I've had the best luck body dragging with the board upside down but on top of my bar. That must be a huge (or flat) board if possible to push it upside down Trent? At least you have to push it tail first if you have reasonable scoop in the nose, and tail first...

Re: Lightest Surf/Free Ride Foil Kit?

@peter_frank excluding board, 90 cm mast.

At a couple of my spots I have to walk 1000 feet through 2 foot water.

Lightest Surf/Free Ride Foil Kit?

Surprisingly haven't found too much on this.. what's the lightest foil brand for something like a 900cm2 surf or free ride foil kit?

Let's say a 90cm mast. Board not included.

Sab, FONE, Armstrong? Something else?
