Re: TechCast # 8 | Quick Releases | Episode # 322

Thanks, started my notes for TechCsat #9 today. Please keep the questions coming. Cheers, DK Love listening to the TechCast Episodes. Keep them coming. Why don't we see any 4 strut (or even strut) designs with an open middle anymore? What was the benefit/cons? I've owned Takoon Chronos, Takoon Refl...

Re: What is your cold water red line, measured in Celsius?

I was out yesterday in 3 degree weather with a 5mm wetsuit, gloves, boots, and hat. The water temperature was around 6-7 degrees. My body was fine but once my hands got cold I was done. If I had better gloves and boots I could last longer. The spot I kite is waste deep. I don't think I'd go out in d...

I can imagine some pretty "creative" hearts being posted. For all the freeriders out there...there is a fun discipline for you! Have you ever tried to draw a heart with GPS? - Best/most creative entries will win $1'000, $500, $250 :naughty: All you need to do is use your phone or apple watch o...

Re: looking for bar options

I've been looking for a new bar and I'm definitely interested in those from Kiteattitude. I just don't now which to go for. I'm also looking at the Takoon Sweet Bar. To be honest I just want something simple and trustworthy with a below the bar swivel. It would be nice to not have to pay $700 Cdn too.

Re: Kitebar recommendation

Has anyone tried the Takoon Sweet Bar? It seems like it uses the same quick release system as others. It has a pretty good price as well.

Re: Kevin Langeree leaving Naish...

I thought I'd heard of every company. How many kite companies are there? Okay so here's some speculation on the Pads and straps as well as possible similarities with the Bar. I am very familiar with the Lacuna Products as I use them in my school. Proven and solid products. The similarities are strik...

Re: Real world reviews of the Switch Nitro7?

It took me a while to get used to my 12m Nitro 6 but I like it now. Would love to know if the 7 is similar but lighter and faster looping. I have a 10m OR Razor which I like boosting with but find it more difficult to unhook with.
