A good friend of mine was eaten by a shark this past October and honestly, even with that, I'm still not afraid of sharks.

Not sure I agree tkaraszewski, but in reality I dont know... The thing is, you and I use the "big" known brands, because we are experienced surfers/kiters/foilers and so on. Pretty interesting. In the US you don’t see Gong almost at all. Gear differs a lot depending on region, but I see a lot of Axis, Lift, FOne Cabrinha, Armstrong and Unifoil foils. Lots of Fone, Duotone, Cabrinha, North and Ocean Rodeo wings. Gong requires expensive international shipping to the US. ...

I wonder if the Naish Macrochip would be a good dock start/pump foil board. I think the microchip might be too small for the relatively forward position that giant pump wings require you to stand in.

As the question was asked as "quality" which would mean how well they are build and might last. And not how they ride. Quality could be either quality of construction, or quality of function, neither is obviously the "correct" usage. So true - thats why I still dont know what your question is rneli...
