Re: Ozone vs Airush Click Style C-Loops

Holy f*** knuckles, a new kite brand I never heard of, and yet another new release and chickenloop. It's like an insane asylum. I am actually with foilholio on this one. This feels like Ozone/Airrush is reinventing a vital system like a car break just because it isn't convenient enough for a few pe...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Definitely check your lines are tuned equal, you don't want the bar setup for backstall with a peak. You have to do a few good sessions on the 3m to learn how much bar pressure it needs. The 3m takes a fine touch, and it's the nicest of the peaks once you're used to it. The flapping is likely becaus...

Anyone use P4 or similar small foil kites on grass launch. How do you keep kite on grass prior to launch?
I launch from the side of window, fold the upwind tip over about 20cm, and find something small to sit on the tip, eg. a small lump of wood/stick, smooth rock, or your helmet.

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

guys, is it so hard to keep it to just abt Peak4s?!? I wish there was a button to filter out all the ramblings of a person you don't want to see. Here are my peak 4 tips for first time peak foilers. Leave a bar connected to the kite. It makes setup and pack down so fast. You'll be in the water befo...

Re: The perfect Surfer - Electric - Car ?

Electric bike with a custom trailer allows me to travel the 15km return trip to the beach as fast as a car in summer traffic, using about 250whr of renewable electricity (7 cents worth). Gives me some good leg exercise. The trailer is a Burley flatbed with a 1.1m x .5m x .6m shell made from 4mm alum...

Re: Predictions for Ram Airs in 2020

There's a reason why inflatable kite users always ask about relaunch. People expect LEIs to front stall in strong gusty wind, front stall in shore dump with the LEI ripped in half, back stall when you're traveling fast downwind on hf, and stall from the side of the wind window. And then there's ligh...

Re: Predictions for Ram Airs in 2020

In 2020, a few people will use the peak 4 on hydrofoil, and they'll wonder why they ever put up with their sluggish heavy inflatable.

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Really someone foiling above 40 knots ?? Would be nice to see video :) only maybe in the lake but definitely not in sea:) My favourite days on the foil are lumpy ocean with 30+ knots. You don't get beat up from the chop like on a displacement board, and it's like flying over a wild ocean pump track...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Armin, any chance you could make a 2m peak?
Great session today, gusting over 40 knots on the 3m, but less powered would be much more manageable.

Adds weight and complexity. Just make simple, inexpensive SS kites. The market needs very small sizes (less than 3 meters)
1+ about smaller than 3m
Agreed
