Re: Action Cams in 2019 whats everyone using

I've been using the Rylo 360 camera for skiing this winter. The stabilizing and auto level is crazy good. It's also quite a bit smaller than the Fusion.

I must've received the short screws as well. I didn't like the idea of self tapping screws though, so I installed stainless threaded inserts into the holes and I'm using M6 bolts now.
I like the idea of inserts. What kind if inserts are they?

Re: RideEngine hoof hooks falling off Slingshot dwarfcraft

Thanks for all the input, guys! I contacted the shop and apparently there's been a batch of hooks sold with too short screws. They were happy to send me a new set :D Hopefully the holes in the board will still work.

Re: RideEngine hoof hooks falling off Slingshot dwarfcraft

Thanks! Are there any risks with using too long screws? Is the core of the board supposed to hold the screws, or are there some reinforced material to hold them. The holes seems to enter the core under the thin layer of plastic.

RideEngine hoof hooks falling off Slingshot dwarfcraft

I just got started foiling and I find the ride engine foot hooks really helpful during waterstarts. But during my first few sessions the attachment screws has been ripped out of the holes in my Slingshot-board. I've tried remounting them in different locations, but the material in the board can't se...

Re: Spotz2 foil for beginner?

Thanks a lot! I decided to order a SS Fkite setup instead. I think cruising and carving waves will be my primary interest when I eventually get the hang of it anyways. A lot more expensive kit though :P

Re: Spotz2 foil for beginner?

Thanks for the fast response! What do you think about the board ? The owner said it might be too short for a beginner.

Spotz2 foil for beginner?

Hi!
I've found a deal on a spotz2 foil with a 110cm board and 1m mast for under 400usd. Would this work as a beginner setup, or is it too advanced?

For reference I have been kitesurfing a few years on and off.

FX '16 vs '17 vs '18

Hi! I'm getting into kiteboarding again after almost 10 years away from the sport! I used to own a SS Fuel and do some basic wakestyle tricks. After some research I've landed on Cabrinha FX as a good all round kite to do both wakestyle, loops and maybe some waves. I don't know if I should buy a seco...
