Don't forget those who consciously opt out of social media on privacy principles - basically they don't want their personal information monetised ?

Re: The Future of the Sport?

You make many choices in life and some people believe their are a lot of limits. If you really love windsports and water, figure out how to live at or near somewhere you can kite etc frequently in good conditions. There are many ways of sustaining a lifestyle in such a place if you look hard enough ...

Re: The Future of the Sport?

In our spot kite grew exponetially from 4 to 25 riders in 10 years. but there is a catch! the 4 friends that are well in their 40`s and 50^s with spare cash to burn. all their off springs are riding now financed by their fathers passion for the sport and their friends are joining in. most of the cl...

Re: Liquid force Impulse v Moses Onda 91

Thank you both for your replies. Macster,I am looking for a comparison with the Onda 633 which I believe is more stable than the 683s? My concerns re Moses are the sharp edges on the wings and mast, seen a few people with nasty cuts from them (the Impulse is more rounded ,less sharp and less likely ...

Re: Flysurfer Soul

Definitely fake news! Used the 6m Soul in a range of wind strengths, foil & twin tip. Probably the best behaved size in the whole Soul range.

Re: sea anchor!

Try just hanging it up on a clothes line over night, gravity might help - my Speed 3 21m gets bone dry leaving it hung up in the hallway, and only 30-40 mins laying out in sun. Although the new fabric on your soul might be so efficient that water can't get out... awesome problem to have! correct me...

Re: sea anchor!

I'll go even further back than Carlos. I've been kitesurfing from the year 2000, always in salt water. I have never washed my kites and all the salt has done is prevent mould/mildew. Salt has never caused any problems with the any fabric or stitching part of the kite or any other part apart from the...

Re: Foilboarding Kite Sizes

I have the 5m Boxer and I'm amazed at its wind range. I'm 65kg and I can use it comfortably in 10-15 knots of steady wind with a Moses 633 foil. 20 knots and it's even good with a twin tip. Being able to use small kites with a foil is a big part of the fun. Small kites are fast and responsive and ca...

Re: The Naish Wing-Surfer

I don't think some on this forum have realised how big SUP is in many places. There would be 50 times more SUPs than kitesurfers and windsurfers combined on the East Coast of Australia. Anyone can SUP so people buy them so the whole family can use the board. There are even SUPs for hire here that ca...

Re: Small Foil kites (ram air...not SLE) in High Winds Foiling

+1 for the Peak4 3m.
Try one and see what you think. Not expensive, easy to fly and keep flying even if you're foiling downwind at the kite!
