Re: Which Kites and lines lenght are most people using for 30 to 50 knots

i often ride in very strong wind in summer.
my ideal quiver for waveriding is 6 airush wave and 18 mt lines.perfect from 25 to 35.
over 35 i use 5 airush wave and 18 mt lines...no real limit for normal riding but hard to surf radically on waves over 40 knots...

Re: strutless

can you please post your experience with strutless inflatable kites? especially in light wind and relaunch They are lighter, hang better, relaunch better, turns faster, pack down smaller - only win win wins :thumb: When you are really powered they tend to flap/flutter more than normal strutted LEIs...

Re: Three strut Hybrid C kites for foiling?

anyway i think that for a good and relaxing hydrofoil session the limit is 9 knots...under this limit you can go but is not so fun going with a lei. even because the kite is too slow and is impossible to make turns or tricks..or surfing waves . of course if your goal is to race or just cruising is d...

Re: Three strut Hybrid C kites for foiling?

Re: Cloud vs Reo.

I want to try to do the same .i think the future for freeride hydrofoil is a very light lei. Now a normal inflatable small kite is build to work in a very wide windrange,so it needs reinforcements and a strong structure that makes it heavy. So I think we will see in the future ,for example, small ki...

Re: Cloud vs Reo.

Took the outer struts off an old Reo 7 mtr, works great for foiling. Probably screwed the top end but not an issue for foiling. 2.23 kgs before, 1.91 now, drifts great. Maybe an option if Clouds aren’t easily available. Haven’t tried a Cloud but they aren’t readily available in Oz. tell me more abo...

Re: too light to drift downwind?

i had the same problem with moses onda 633. but only with low volume and heavyboards with a skimboard like construction.with this kind of boards the rail gets deep in the water ,the foil works like a dagger, the board like a sail and it starts to go away. with strong wind it goes fast... but now with...
