New Board Recommendations

Hi, I have just destroyed my Slingshot Dwarf Craft (as you can hopefully see in the picture). I was out in 12 knots working on some powered loops and the thing just gave up during a landing (not even hard 2.9G on my WOO). Now I can see the build quality of the board I don't think I will be going wit...

Re: Aluula Kites - for those of you who already have some hands-on experience

I have a Duotone D/Lab Juice 13m and an Ocean Rodeo Rise 10m. They are both significantly faster than a similar kites made of the traditional materials and just hang in the sky when the wind is light. With these just these two kites I would have a wind range from 4-40knots (obviously with some board...

Re: Mast repair

Thank you guys.
I have a little flap, is it best to cut it off and build up again or try to incorporate the flap back into the mast using Epoxy?

Note to self- do not tow other people on hydrofoils when using a nice mast, they tend to hit your board if you fall.

Got a little ding in the back of my Moses mast.
Any advice on the best way to fix it?

30 knots with the 9M hyperlink??? that's way too much wind.
I live in the Bahrain, hot and dry winds with no power behind them. 30knots here is not anything like 30 knots in a European winter.

Re: Speed System on a Ozone Hyperlink

Thanks for the replies, I will re-check them later. The front lines from the bar also had some serious stretch, could that contribute to the kite bridal stretching? We have had a lot of southerlies recently which are very up and down, have resorted to leaving different boards on the beach and swappi...

Speed System on a Ozone Hyperlink

Hi, I am still pretty new to foil kites and recently noticed my Hyperlink V2 wasn't behaving quite as well as it should in very light wind, I checked the Speed System and the C line was approximately 6cm shorter than the A & B. As Ozone don't have an adjustable system as standard is there anything t...

Re: Launching in strong winds

It wasn't staying in the cobra for very long probably due to the gusty conditions. So I flew it slowly to 12, however it was sitting so far back in the wind window it was pulling me along the beach (surfing on my flipflops). I guess more pre inflation is the answer.

Launching in strong winds

I was trying to launch my 9m Hyperlink in a very gusty 30 knots the other day and was really struggling to get it to hold any shape. The bridle had picked up a little bit of rubbish but normally when it does that I can still get it to fill.
Any advice?

Re: Upgrading my Double Agent

Anyone tried the new Cabrinha foils? The Speed might be a way to get a higher aspect foil without getting a new board
