Re: Infexion Max bar / Seatbelt Quick Release

Yes the loop was ca 70mm instead of 65mm. The knot slipped a little bit. Didn`t pay too much attention on this detail, now i will keep an eye on it.

Re: Adjusting pigtail length - do I move the stopper knot or just the larkshead?

To undo the knot you can use pliers but often you will pull out some single strains and thats not intended. The smarter way is to wet the knot with water, some use a drop of olive oil, then tap it gently with a big spoon, a round stone , little hammer etc , or just chew it. 2 min job and it gets lose

I had the frontal collapse too after LMT.
I shortened only B in two steps, for now 2cm. 1cm was not enough. Now it is stable while foiling, jumps huge but is not fast when flying cross the wind window.

Re: Ozone bar compatible with Slingshot kites?

You can use your Ozone bar If you change the pigtails at your Slingshot kite. They have quite the same length, you can change the fronts vs the back pigtails

Re: Plywood Foil Board

5ft x22" or 150x 55 is way too big. If you are kind of normal size go for 130x46 It seems that bonding Xps / wood works better with a PU glue. That was the result of a test a very good board builder did, he compared diff bondings. Epoxy works, but PU was way better. The leash could be a simple 4mm d...

Re: Infexion Max bar / Seatbelt Quick Release

In rockclimbing dyneema sliding on dyneema is a no no , bc of melting the fabric. The intention to make the rig free of metal is good, but aren`t we talking about a tiny steel ring what is saved for this solution.

Re: Plywood Foil Board

Here is a laminate calculator https://www.r-g.de/en/laminatecalculator.html Can not help you with yout initial question, as you don`t mention lenght and width. Remeber the wood will drink a lot. Better some left over , than running out of epoxy. Overthink ply on bottom, it will be heavy. Think inste...
