Re: Splicing my first set of lines

[quote=Jonaszw - After a lot of trying (attaching the lines to a fixed point and then pulling hard on the other side and cutting the lines) I managed to cut 4 exact lines and also splice them on one side. Now that I placed this on my Naish bar, I have unfortunately noticed that my safety lines are M...

Re: How I built my own kite surfing bar

I used the shiny bar with neogloves, quite nice to hold the middle part onehanded but too slick will use a tape when out with gloves. I don...

The pin is of an 2002 FS leash, this one is strong enough i hope. It bend a little bit after jumping with the foil. I have to look for cracks. Any suggestions for a solid pin?

Re: Chicken Loop Bye Bye?

The bar has 500g with 17m+4m+2m.Liros dc301&201 The bike carbon handlebar was cut to 50cm. The bar ends are from an old Naish bar. Power-depower works just fine, 5mm dyneema 10cm splice. Depower works by pulling the red ball down. Idea by Tomtom I cutted the Antal 24/10 on one side and epoxied it wi...

Re: Grinding hook off spreader bar and replacing with soft ropeconnection. Anyone done this?

https://i.imgur.com/Gl4MRMB.jpg Have a closer look at the left side. You can try to fiddle a smaler 2/ 3mm through the two clips/small hooks . Double loop it around the bar. Connect the slider line to the double loop. I have the same bar , thats why i know of the two clips , they just hold the cover...

Re: Ultralight vs standard foil kite degradation

Slightly OT, i found this from April 2010
