Re: Naish Boxer 10m 19/20

Thanks for the all in input. Several of you recognized my idea of a 8 and 11m2 boxer to complement my 7m2 three strut wave kite. After talking with PF I saw the idea of go for a 9 or 10m2 only, however I like the broader wind range with 8m2 and 11m2, and since I am still learning on the foil I hope ...

Re: Naish Boxer 10m 19/20

BUT for me you should compare a 9m 3-strut kite to a 8m Boxer in terms of wind range. Then 8m Boxer turns faster. Yes, that was my idea, to compare a 9m2 3 strut wave kite with the 8m boxer wrt windrage. I've been riding the first Boxer 2017/2018 for foiling in sizes 10 and 8 I didn't use the 10 a ...

Re: Naish Boxer 10m 19/20

That's what I did first and it'S a good strategy but there is still a big advantage to a 9M single strut. I started with a 12M Ultra and it works good for foiling probably around 6 knots to 15 comfortably and 20 in survival mode. But the 9M Boxer that I have works from about 8 knots to 20 comfortab...

Re: Naish Boxer 10m 19/20

One more thing: you write that a 9m2 3 strut wave kite is faster turning than a 10m2 1-strut kite?

Maybe I could also stick with my 9m2 3-strut freeride kite for both waves and foiling, and just go for a single 1-strut kite for light wind foiling..

Re: Naish Boxer 10m 19/20

Hi, thank you for sharing. Great reading. I am mostly used to waves with 7m2 or smaller waves. I started foiling, and thinking about changing my old freeride 3-strut kites 9-12m2, for some more foil orientated 1-strut kites. Here I consider the Boxer. First question: What size will ideally follow my...

Re: Time for new winter boots. Atan again?

I use the very same 3 mm Mistral here in Denmark all winther, used the Miboot from Atan, the first years. Both are sufficiently warm here in Denmark where water is not below zero, and still great barefoot feel. Thicker and it feels wrong to me. [CUT] 8) Peter I Guess it is fair to mention that Pete...

Re: LF thruster bumpy ride on Al fuse

Hi, I have the LF thruster with aluminum fuselage, and feel the ride very smooth. My friend who have the first version LF foil fish also feel the thruster very smooth. Also, when I go slow (I am impressed how slow the thruster can go) I feel the foiling smooth. Interesting that you went from the imp...

Re: 2016 NP Surf S1 Tracker and Halo spreader bars...

Hi there,
I am considering the NP tracker spreader bar.

Do any of you have comments (positive or negative) on the tracker bar ~3 years after the latest post in this thread?

I will be using it primarily for the surf.

Re: Harness with Sliding spreader bar

I started this thread. Thank you for your inputs.
I found that the brand of my current harness sell a separate spreaderbar with rope. It seems like a fair price to try out a sliding CL connection.
Alternative, I like the idea of adding rope your self as also posted.

Kind regards

Harness with Sliding spreader bar

Hello In wave kitesurfing a harness with Sliding spreader bar is pushed from some retailers/brands. The idea is to have the pull from the kite not always from your body center. I see surf movies in perfect conditions with big waves and cross off wind, where the (team)riders holds their kites stable....
