Re: 2016 NP Surf S1 Tracker and Halo spreader bars...

Hi there,
I am considering the NP tracker spreader bar.

Do any of you have comments (positive or negative) on the tracker bar ~3 years after the latest post in this thread?

I will be using it primarily for the surf.

Re: Harness with Sliding spreader bar

I started this thread. Thank you for your inputs.
I found that the brand of my current harness sell a separate spreaderbar with rope. It seems like a fair price to try out a sliding CL connection.
Alternative, I like the idea of adding rope your self as also posted.

Kind regards
M

Harness with Sliding spreader bar

Hello In wave kitesurfing a harness with Sliding spreader bar is pushed from some retailers/brands. The idea is to have the pull from the kite not always from your body center. I see surf movies in perfect conditions with big waves and cross off wind, where the (team)riders holds their kites stable....

Re: Nick Jacobsen leaves Cabrinha team

Will Nick participate in king of the air in cape Town? Perhaps with gear from a new sponsor?

Re: You love it - SUP and kite shop in Dusseldorf - Do not buy!

My point is: If the webshop do not ship any/most of the orders, as indicated here, it is pretty cold blooded emailing back and forth being very friendly and professionally Do you know how friendly the Nigerians are before you give them your bank account details to send you 100.000.000 USD 😂😂😂 I pre...

Re: You love it - SUP and kite shop in Dusseldorf - Do not buy!

I find it interesting that people report that they get no response. I emailed back and forth several times yesterday. The webshop explicit asked for bank transfer. I am looking for a 40cm mast for the cabrinha double agent. It seems to be sold out all over Europe (I asked a few places), except you-l...

I have not paid. It am asked to pay by bank transfer/bank account.. If I remember correct, credit card is a better option if there later is a dispute..

Re: You love it - SUP and kite shop in Dusseldorf - Do not buy!

I am surprised to read these posts with people complaining. I have been emailing with Gerrit to day. Fast replies. Seems like they have the gear I need, and the price is good. Latest post in this thread as soon as yesterday..! What to believe..?!

Re: Naish Slash 2018 on 20m lines

I have no experience with naish slash, but in general I can recommend shorter lines on smaller kites. For waves I use 19 or 20m lines on 9m2 to 4.5m2 kites. Less power in turns, faster turning, shorter flight length from wind window edge to edge. The 9m2 behaves a little different, but performs good...
