I did not fly the SLS but I do have a roam. I have yet to see anyone ride one of these better than a normal foil with a stabilizer, regardless of what you consider “best”. Fastest? Highest jump? Best wave ride? All on normal foils. I’m sure they didn’t want to mess with integrity issues from jumping an inflatable wingboard. A non-freestyler does not miss the back foot strap.
