Re: Duotone trust bar 24m on a Gong strutless?

I have a Gong strutless, 8m kite and I fly it on Slingshot bar which is a low V. I had to add about 4 inch pigtails to the center lines, so it flies properly. You probably have to play with pigtails too. Let me know what you end up with. Hi Alex, Thanks. How did you notice he was not flying well? a...

Duotone trust bar 24m on a Gong strutless?

Hey all, Anybody have experience using a 24m trustbar on a Gong strutless 10m kite? I measured the position of the Y with the trustbar and it is 6 meters [measuring from the depower cord]. The Gong states 2 meters on their site. That is a large difference I think, or not? I also read that flying a h...

Re: A beautiful Vacation with 2019 Duotone EVO 7m, 9m, Rebel 12m

Hi Mo!!! Thanks for sharing! Question: why not a 7 and 9 meter Rebel too as you like the rebel 12m so much? I own a quiver of 7, 9, 12 evo and am thinking of switching to the rebel next year. I just jump more and more and nowadays and keep wanting to do more old school tricks. So the extra hang time...

Re: Naish Pivot vs Duotone Neo

Think the EVO is to powerful and not as good in the waves, I don't like that. Hence my search... I will test, but it is good to know other peoples experiences so I am better informed, hence my question. ; )

Naish Pivot vs Duotone Neo

Hi All, I am really anxious to hear your thoughts on how these kites compare and then especially wave capability vs freeride capabilty. I read on the forum that the Pivot is very powerfull and that is what I read in the NEO as well. Although the NEO is put as a wave specific kite it needs to tailor ...

Re: Big air and waving quiver advice

Hey Leon, Did you wave with an 8 Rebel as well then? How was that? Guess I will test an 11 meter Rebel in 20+ knots this summer as well. In 20+ knots I will most likely take the 8 for waving anyhow, so the big kite does not need to be an EVO. The quiver could become 11 Rebel, 8 EVO and 6 EVO. Cheers

Re: Big air and waving quiver advice

Hi Jeroen, I also weigh 80 kg, kite on Wijk / Netherlands and I love the same disciplines, maybe less waveriding. in another post from yesterday you talk like you still have to buy the Evo so I don't get it? At the moment I own the Duotone Rebel 11,8,6m. I also flew with the pivots, great and perfe...

Re: Big air and waving quiver advice.

Hi Jeroen! I am not an experienced kiter but I talked to a lot of riders, shops and watched a lot of kiting since I started the sport last year. What you should be focussing on is your riding style in my opinion. If you need a kite that drifts really nicely, meaning you have a smaller kite and want...
