Re: F one phantom wings DIY shape?

Those are the ones!
Thanks.
Do you think that you are able to make a wing like that in wood which is like the new F One Phantoms in quality and pumpability (Is that a word)?

F one phantom wings DIY shape?

Is it possible to make a copy of the F One Phantom wings to fit my Gong foil so I can pump it making the shape and just glassing it? Will I not get it thin enough? Not strong enough unless I use carbon? Is it just too precise due to the foil being so wide and thin? I did see a guy build a wooden pum...

Clear traction deck grip: What clear glue?

As title, what glue should I use to stick the pealing edges of my clear plastic deck grip down?

Super glue reacts with water over time?
Contact adhesive goes yellow.
Recommendations appreciated x

Thanks you handsome fellows in advance x

Carbon or prime ride engine harness question?

Ride Engine harness: is there much difference in the real world use between them or is the carbon one just more as it’s carbon and you pay to say you have the best.
Is the prime one just as good but cheaper?

Anyone have real beach feedback?

PTFE grease question?

I was going to buy some Tikal Tef-Gel. A friend who works on submarines can get me some Rocol RT15 PTFE grease for free. It's really expensive - £156 for 100g!!! Is this the same as Tikal Tef-Gel or is the Rocol wrong for stopping galvanic corrosion on a hydrofoil? Would bicycle specific teflon grea...

Re: Clear deck grips cost so much. Is it just plastic?

Thanks for the insight Peter. Yes, clear for my boards. How do the clear deck grips work? Is it tiny pores in the surface that make a mini vacuum to the base of the 🦶? If and when I get more proficient and make a pocket board, I’d use cork grip. The clear ones will look cool on my lib tech surfboard...

Clear deck grips cost so much. Is it just plastic?

Like the look of the Hexagrip clear deck stickers or the Van de Wall ones.

Why are they so expensive and what are they made of and how do they work?

Has anyone got cheaper ones from China that work the same?

Foil maintainance questions?

Hey guys, I have a Gong medium surf foil with aluminium mast. 1. Should I wash all sea water off after a session or just let it dry and towel off? 2. Tef Gel: should I get that or can you use cheaper bike grease with Teflon? What is the difference? 3. I take mine apart after every session. If I use ...

DIY XXL pump front wing questions?

Hi guys, I am foiling on the gong m with 65 mast and 5’7 40l kiteboard. I would love a new Gong XXL pro foil to dock start but it’s €400 😢 I weigh 82kg. Questions: 1. Could I make a thin wing out of wood and laminate with A number of fibreglass layers and work ok? 2. Would it be too flexible with th...
