Although the problem of sand getting stuck in the trailing edge of a foil kite is less of a problem with newer versions, I thought I should share a solution I developed to solve this problem. The video demonstrates the problem on an older V1 Chrono . It’s easy when you know how, just make sure the k...
My super smooth and fast 101 mast For some reason one side needed sanding more than the other to remove the snake skin effect lacquer. Consequently one side is now naked of the Moses logo. 541607A1-9B8C-4728-A81D-8D8577FBEE32.jpeg 6FCC042D-A720-45CD-A73A-9FBC9E3713FF.jpeg This next picture shows the...
In addition to the previous comments and advice above, I always carry a small distress flare gun (3 cartridges) in the side of my harness. Even if you are just 500m offshore and get into difficulty (kite down) people can not always see you from the shore. Swimming in with an onshore wind should norm...
I weigh 68kg and use 633 or 720 wings In the NW of UK and NW of France I use the following (all V3 Chronos) 15m 35% of the time, 11m 35% of the time, 20% of the time and my 5m Hyperlink 10% of the time. Whereas, some trips to Fuerteventura have been, 15m 25%, 11m 10%, 7m 20% and 5m 50% of the time. ...
I just thnkk that moses must be honest for lot of onda/ surffuselage users and release one really race oriented wing for surfuselage. It was kind of 720 wing still its not very fast and not big difference in speed from Onda or comparing with real race wings. How fast are you looking for? What speed...

did you ever try 633 with 425? Looks like a possible good combo
[/quote]
No I haven’t. I find the 633/483 very balanced so not sure why to try the 633/425. The reason I use the 720/425 and not 720/483 is that there was far too much lift with the 483, where as the 425 is a good match.
When I’ve played around with shims in the past I just got my daughter, who is great with Pythagoras, to calculate the angle. As foil writes a wedge of 0.5mm is significant, I tried 0.25 yo to 2.0 degrees. However, my conclusion with Moses foils is don’t shim them as there is always a trade off (norm...
