Re: old blades and old flysurfers

if you are confident you will find blades great for kitesurfing , I have seen it done on handles , just don't drop it , I saw mark everit kitesurfing on a blade3 4.9 and he was not really a kite surfer, he was a buggy flyer , and he was going great guns, but it is the same on a depower foil, just d...

Re: old blades and old flysurfers

who flys in gusts anyway , certainly not blade flyers , but the blade 1's are better in bumpy winds , and I collect blades , I have 18 in all with a particular liking to the early smaller ones , and I've been flying them since 2003, always on handles on a roller , as the buggy freestyle flyers do , ...

you get the same kind of effect as the crossover kit with handles by adding some brake on the turn ,handles are my preferred choice on all blades

Re: old blades and old flysurfers

yea for gusts, kiting is shite and blades really let you know that in a brutal way and bringing the kite across the lower area's of the power zone if a gust , even a little extra punch of power, can really grab your attention , I don't want to fly in gusts too much , the 3,3 sting is better there ,a...

Re: Line and kite saftey after long term storage.

hi there , I too have blades , and love the b2 4.9, its my fav , I have 17 in all , but never got the b2 9metre , the b2 6.4 is slow enough ,so I never got any bigger, I do have an unused cross over kit but I like the feel of handles and a roller, the b3 8.5 is my biggest blade , and if you don't ha...

hi there , yes I can believe they have but I am happy with what I have -the constant need to upgrade is not something I chase , and I do like raw kites

Re: Why is everyone hating on old kites ?

its the same with all kites , lei , foil depower , fixed bridle flexifoil blades, in the early days all of these kites were raw and in some cases scary , and tru the development they became "more useable", and softer in the power delivery , and bigger in the wind ranges the main 2 kites I have flown...
