Why not just hammer a pole into the ground and backstall the kite into that?
Agreed, but do you have a limit for that method? 25 knots, 30 knots?

Re: Flysurfer Soul

New lightwind method :D https://www.facebook.com/armin.harich/videos/10158544857304167/ To Armin: interesting self landing method. Can you still control the kite while pulling the lines or is it just flapping around. At the end of the video I got the impression that you are steering it a bit. Would...

12 Soul difficult for foiling

I am only learning to foil and can`t compare with other kites, but I also got the feeling that the 12 Soul might not be ideal for (learning) to foil. Either not enough, or all of a sudden too much power. I like it on TT, but we always have gusty conditions on the lakes here and I wish I would have a...

Re: Launching and landing on cement parking lot

Thx guys. What do you mean by “land it into your car”? Any obstacle without sharp edges will work (also the rebar and a pool noodle Herman was mentioning). Cars usually don't have sharp edges otherwise they wouldn't be admitted on public streets. You lower the kite by backstalling it down to about ...

Re: Launching and landing on cement parking lot

This could be the dumbest idea of all time but how risky is it to launch and land on a cement parking lot? I ride a Flysurfer Soul and obviously I'm concerned about ripping the canopy. Any brave souls out there? I never launch too close to a street or train rail if there is a risk that if something...

Ever saw a snake peeling off its skin. It is the same. Inch by inch, slowly and with a lot of patience. I love this suit.

Re: Soul - landing with help

....I think I’m over worrying about landing my Soul at the beach as LEI riders won’t just to hold the tip and let it flag. Saw someone trying to land last week at a local beach and the lander disappeared as the kite wrapped around him. Does anyone else fuss or just tell em before landing...does it ...

Re: sea anchor!

Don't open the velcro openings if they are under the water. This will prevent the air from coming out, water will get in and it takes ages until the air gets out of the Soul through the sewing. Only chance for me is putting my arm deep in the valves to open them manually and get the air out. The ope...

Re: Mounting slingshot foil on 2018 nobile zen?

Is there any smooth affordable way to mount a slingshot infinity 76 wing to a nobile 2018 board? Or any other wing with the same lift. My nobile wing is not generating the lift i want. I want to surf small waves behind my RIB boat with it, no rope. I have the same issue and have bought the GONG SUR...
