Re: Covid-19 - How does it affect your kite-life?

A partir de las 6 de la mañana del lunes 16 de marzo y durante un mes quedan su...

Re: Kevin Langeree leaving Naish...

With all their years experience (R&D earned at other kite brands) you would think they would be able to produce the kites without the cost of R&D... therefore maybe cheaper than other brands? It seems the bar is licensed from elsewhere? Can of worms opened maybe.. They use an OEM bar design made by...

Re: Moses 790 front wing - what's the verdict now?

i pair a 790 and and 720 nowadays.. been riding the 790 since it was release...and is still my everyday wing. calling a 790 the longboard is spot on. i got the 720 for a bit more speed on the steep wave faces you see off these atlantic storm swells. (a 790 can handle it...but much less scary on 720)...

Re: Naples Florida access

Thanks. I love the clouds but the peaks are so much better, IMHO. Yes, if you put it in the water its a 50/50 for getting it up again. Btw, the Clouds, great kites, often flipped over the lines and became inoperable when they went in the water. That said, you literally have to try to put a Peak 4 i...

Re: Exuma, Bahamas Kite trip?

We have a kite trip from February 20th-March 4th. The house is an amazing house with its own marina and Boat to do Moriah Cay and other excursions and offshore kite trips. If you cannot do the full 2 weeks, the last 7 nights (26th-4th) would be prefect. Need to know ASAP. Round trip tickets right n...

Re: Small pocket board - looking for recommendation/advice

You are rigth Oldman_Dave, short flat boards one can get used to of course. Its just, my level isnt sufficiently high, and besides this, I see no advantages whatsoever when going shorter than say 110 cm or something, for the average sized, so not my preference. In short, WHY? Personal as said, what...

Re: Caribbean alternative to Cabarete for early February

I live in Barbados since 1996. Kitesurfing in February is amazing. Swells are usually quite high this time around. 8 to 12' on some days with winds around 20 to 25kts and some days up to 30kts. There are about 70% of kiters on Surfboards and 30% on TT. On the inside there are some nice kickers for ...

Re: cabarete death

I was there when a swimmer drowned some years ago. Not that I follow much DR news in general, but my impression was it wasn't covered up. Which beach? cabarete/bozo beach area.. but not certain on that details are light/sketchy (hearing via whatsapp from a local instructor) waves were pretty heavy ...
