Hi Kook,

The raptor has a “grippier” edge feel in the water. Which can be a benefit, but I prefer a softer edge. I think the raptor is a bit lighter too… I’d say the shotgun smoothes out chop better and I seem to land more smoothly too. I still ride but he and have tons of fun on each one.

Nice- I think you’ll enjoy the feeling of a smaller board. I ride a homemade 90cm board and I will have crashes where it stays on its side, others where it rides mast down- If I’m out of control and going fast, yes, there might be a bit of body dragging. Bummer about the board- I snapped an ltd raptor right across the pad mounting hardware spot- it was a few days outside of the one year warranty (they have a 3 year warranty but I forgot to register it) regardless, they were responsive and replaced the board for me. I snapped mine riding with straps... I love the board though...they replaced if for me - 3 year warranty.
