Re: SK99 line stretch

I don’t know about GHK SK99, but 2% elongation at 50% of load is standard for SK99 kiteline:

With 10cm, you probably have loaded your line at around 10% of breaking load...

Re: SK99 line stretch

It’s normal imho and I’m surprised you didn’t get more stretch out of them. Just did mine with SK99 1.3 270kg. I did run some tests with 1m length just for fun. Initial length was exactly 1m (brummel lock splice both ends) that I pre-load by applying 10x a load of 100kg (1 min. of rest between each ...

Armstrong 311 for kitefoiling?

I’m looking for a new foilboard and i’m wondering if any of you ride the 311 board for kitefoiling? If so, do hou like it? In the same idea, i would like to give a shot at prone foiling, so Armstrong 455 could be a better choice, but i’m wondering if the extra length and weigth of the 455 would anoy...

Question for Axis Tray board owner

I saw a few videos of guys riding the Axis Tray 94cm foil board and couldn’t see any deck pad on top of the board...
Is the Tray board having some gripy deck material? Couldn’t find any info on Axis web site...
Thanks

I now use a sacrificial section of line running up through from the bottom end and out the top of the depower pu tube, and done away with the the red line completely.
Thanks for the reply!
Could you elaborate a bit more on how works your sacrficial line? Your safety line is still fully loaded?

Core Sensor bar with Wave SST

Did anyone ever try SS Wase SST with Core Sensor bar?
Would the higher "Y" of the Core bar affect that much the performance of the Wave SST?

Clickbar red safety line end cap removal

I would like to know if someone knows how to remove the end cap (close to the leash connection) of the red safety line? Looks like there’s a kind of thearding, the cap is twisting on the black sleeve, but not « unscrewing »... Is there a way to remove it and keeping it undamage or you have to screw ...

Wave SST - Upwind?!

Anyone of you can give me your opinion on SST upwind performance.
I find it a bit harder going upwind on my SST than my others wave kite (Neo).
Any tips to help upwind performance with SST?

Moses 82cm mast

I’ve finally decided to get a 633. Now i’m wondering if i should go with 82cm or 91cm mast. I’m heavy, like 100kg naked. I heard that 91cm can be kind of flexy... My primary idea was to go with the 91cm, cause we got a lot of chop and small wave at my spots. Looks like 82cm mast is stiffer... Anyone...
