Spot advice Leucate to Narbonne-area

Hi, Looking for advice on kitesurfing in the Leucate to Narbonne-area. - Best spots? - Do you also ride on the inside "Etange"? Looks like fantastic flat water? Where? - Access to beaches? Or you have to ride at a kite-school location with beach fee? - Limitations? - Overcrowded time of year? - Clev...

Re: Light wind kite

8-10 is really tricky at 85 kg, but you do need bigger gear than the ones you have. It will save a lot of sessions. Perhaps even get a 17 kite instead of the 15. And also a light wind board. It will make a difference at the level you are at. As you progress you will start to think the light wind day...

Re: What determines a bar's "feel"?

Adding two cents on the topic: I've noticed how different the feel between my LFK Mission Control 2 and my Cabrinha Overdrive when i use them across the varieties of kites i have. The Cab looks clumsy to the LFK but the Cab construction actually dampens out any ratteling and jittering that can happe...

Re: Drying Kites in Rainy Conditions

I spread it out on the livingroom floor in the morning and when I get back after work in the evening it is dry. No pumping needed. Some parts are a bit folded though, so those might need some more attention. I also have some old towels in the car that I use at the beach to wipe away excess water fro...

Re: What type of skis for kiting?

It depends what surface you plan on being on (ie. Mountain snow or Lake - ice, hard packed) We are on a Lake and use second hand old ski's that we don't mind abusing. All you need is a good edge and bindings that work. Buy a pair of used skis (edges, bindings OK) and boots and your good to go. Also...

Re: Unsettling vibes from Cabrinha - what's up?

? https://www.cabrinha.com/collections/kites https://www.cabrinha.com/collections/twin-tips ? Mossy 757 of course they have the old stuff in the back catalogue but I found it rather odd making a big splash about their first ever product launch video, starting a new era, "00", etc etc - and then spe...

Re: The best way to self land 4 line kite with low V

Just so I get this on self landing:
Top front line if you want the kite fall towards you and lay on the leading edge. As normal rest position.
Lower front line if you want the kite to fall away from you and rest on its back, wing tips pointing up into the sky. Walk the line to the kite.
Right?

Top or lower front line? Different advice here. Both works it seems. I always thought top was the way to go, will try the lower.

Unsettling vibes from Cabrinha - what's up?

Looking for info about 2021 Cab kites, there is very little. And on the "00 COLLECTION LAUNCH SHOW" they spend 40 minutes on winging and surfboards but just 30 seconds on two kites and nothing on TT. Makes you wonder. Why is this? They plan to get back on those topics in the winter or what?
