Re: Does waist harness slide up on drysuit? Should I just use wetsuit?

I have a Prolimit drysuit and my harness do ride up more easily than on wetsuit. I'm now going back to thick wetsuits for the winter.

Yes you are right. And much nicer colours too. I never liked the punk rock black-style. What's going on at SS?

Re: You love it - SUP and kite shop in Dusseldorf - Do not buy!

Been a customer there for years. Price/Performance-ratio is great. You will get your stuff, don't worry it just takes some extra time for some items. You get the best price possible, all you need to do is to be a bit patient. If speed and security of On-time delivery is priority you can pay 30% extr...

Re: Height or weight more important for board size

Some pro coaches prioritize hight for kite selection. And in general not go too small and not be afraid of what used to be viewed as large. Boards have changed and size is not what it used to be. Here is Alex Pastor's advice. https://shop.alexpastorkiteclub.com/blogs/how-to/choose-your-twintip-kiteb...

Re: Europe from mid-September to mid-October (warm place)

You never know what you get with outdoor sports. Toby's observation about Sicily is right. I've been to Stagnone on the west side and it is not known as a very windy place but in September decent for 12 and bigger. The lagoon at the spot is really good though. Square kilometers of flat knee deep wat...

Re: Yes I'm an idiot !

First time ever going out on my Slingshot gear I took the wrong bolts to connect the mast to the fuselage. I comfortably launched up and out of the water, all looked fine. Taxiing on the water at first like a boss and thought I just nudge my weight a bit and get a little lift - I've got this, I'm a ...

Re: The fight against smelly gear

I have been keeping most of kite gear in the freezer for years. It keeps it in pristine condition, and low on nasty oders. A win win situation. I tend to microwave my wetsuit in preparation for the next session, although sometime i just put it straight on, frozen, to help adjust to the cold. :D HaH...

The fight against smelly gear

What is your best household tips to prevent and even fix smelly gear like wet suit, swim shorts, impact vest etc? Through the years I've been over a lot of products designed for this but I'm not quite satisfied. And if one thing already has gone just a tiny tiny bit sour, there seems to be no way to...

Re: Heavy rider equipment

I'm 100 kg 194 cm. You have gotten some really good advice in the forum. The Ozone Zephyr is a great kite. And really good to learn on since the large kites move slowly so you as a beginner have time to understand cause and effect. Going out in high winds with a small kite is frustrating as a beginn...
