I have wondered for a while why my 683 became unstable at higher speeds. Note: I have shimmed and made all the usual adjustments but did not expect QA issues. I know a guy on his 3rd session on a 683 is doing 20 kn sitting on his board .
I am struggling to do 18kn standing on a broad reach and we are both on 6.2m Cloud kites in similar conditions.
What are others achieving and what suggestions so I can improve?
I just fitted a half hook strap to front position, big difference of freedom.
Now I have the best of both worlds ie freedom of strapless plus a handle, a means to see my board if separated in chop etc
