Re: New hydrofoil / wave kite and bar: Kauper-XT

With 2 unexpected releases by wichard snap shakle on my last deep water foil trip I've almost gave up on this shakle but after last mod with the addition secure I will give it a last try.. I have added a stretch rope that increase needed release force up to ~2-3kg (need to examin) with still easy us...

Re: New hydrofoil / wave kite and bar: Kauper-XT

Moving / looping the bar in more then 45 degrees and also limited, as Rainer states. As designed. For me it will take a while to get used to, that my loops are limited if I at the same time want to pull / push the bar in the loop. As Rainer has mentioned, the bar was built based on his needs and re...

Re: Pansh 12m A15 ultralight with Jackomixer wow

Jackomixer decreases camber when powering up in practically any kite, it just pulls B-C so much or too little Z. I think it's not.. When U exchange the mixer from 421 to any other U start with front and rear lines from the bar equal and ABCZ in line after mixer section which means we have set the m...

Re: Pansh 12m A15 ultralight with Jackomixer wow

I agree, this is why i stopped moding the mixer after 4:3 test. Only changing faster or slower the angle of attack will not increase or decrease the range of the depower. With the mod like 4:3 the designed depower range of the kite is only more accessible but with less power precision and more bar ...

Re: Pansh 12m A15 ultralight with Jackomixer wow

You could apply it to the Jackomixer and have for 3line:4Z:3C:2B. Interesting how it passes 2 lines through the one pulley. jacko432.jpg You would likely need both the pulley lines attach at the same point on B. Jackomixer is also increasing the Z move compare to bar throw by 50%, as i wrote couple...

Re: Pansh 12m A15 ultralight with Jackomixer wow

Target: Extend the range of the depower I noticed above sentence in your diagram. Unfortunately amount of depower is not much related to mixers, limiting factors are how well kite tolerates low AoA's and how much L it then has. These depend on kite shape, line row locations and above all airfoil. S...

Re: Pansh 12m A15 ultralight with Jackomixer wow

You haven't debunked anything. It is rather I who have debunked you and you who are the flat earther. I suppose that this is not addressed to me I dont have time and energy to test all the mods The jackomixer takes far less time than you have spent on this excel stuff. Yes it is true, I spend coupl...

Re: Pansh 12m A15 ultralight with Jackomixer wow

What is the 4:3 mixer to which you are referring? I can not find the previous pic without mods, so don't include the red or green lines and puleys https://kiteforum.com/download/file.php?id=92540 Yes Ratio is Z4:C2:B1. That is with 3 rear line pulled, with 4 line its 1/3 more. Interesting. You coul...
