Re: 14m 3-strut "lighter" wind kite recommendations?

Ocean Rodeo Flite 14.5m is a great light wind kite. The 2018 and newer models now have the same kite bridle attachment configuration ( loops of the kite's front bridle, knots on the back/steering bridle lines ) as your Cab kites, so would work on your Cab bars. Does "2018 and newer" mean gen 5 or g...

Re: 14m 3-strut "lighter" wind kite recommendations?

Thanks! I'd thought about a 15m Contra but 15m probably a little big to sit above my 11m Switchblade, plus ideally want something a little faster than the Contra. Would love to get some views on light wind ability of Moto, Nexus and Enduro V2. How do you find the 15m Contra for going upwind? Thanks...

Re: Ride Engine vs. Mystic Majestic X

I have been riding both harnesses, the MX for 6months, and the Ride engine 2017 for a year. The Ride engine feels nice and tight with great back cushioning. The mystic is slightly looser, thinner back cushioning, but somehow feels lighter and more comfortable after a long session. Both feel nice an...

Another vote for the 14.5m flite.
Im 65kg. Its my most used kite. 10-20knt range. Fast turning for its size. Easy to loop. Light bar pressure. Well Made.
Thanks! Given the overwhelming support for this kite I'll see if I can get a demo!

Re: 14m 3-strut "lighter" wind kite recommendations?

I hardly used my 17m Contra for the same reason. However I did use my 15m a lot. After a recent change in kites I’ve gone back to a 15m Contra, as I wanted a good 3 strut, easy kite. If you can stretch to a 15m there’s a decent offer here; it’s £900 on their front page; https://www.pooleharbour.co....

Ocean Rodeo Flite 14.5m is a great light wind kite. The 2018 and newer models now have the same kite bridle attachment configuration ( loops of the kite's front bridle, knots on the back/steering bridle lines ) as your Cab kites, so would work on your Cab bars. I second that. At about 220 lbs, it's...

14m 3-strut "lighter" wind kite recommendations?

Hi, I'm in the process of narrowing the size range of my 3 kite quiver from 9m & 12m Cabrinha Radars (which I learnt on) and a 17m Cab Contra, to 9m & 11m Switchblades and a 14m 3-strut kite (not yet purchased). The main reason is my girlfriend is now kiteboarding with me and we want to have a quive...
