And who is ultimately responsible for the obesity epidemic?

.
Not sure but with my 30+ years living part time in Mexico I have witnessed a very sad epidemic of obesity. Every kids got a coke, a mouth full of gummy bears and more. Every block there's another "Dulceria" store.

Re: Vertigo while Kiting?

Jumptheshack.... "Dehydration, sun exposure and pathomechanics in the neck are the most likely ingredients in your case. I CAN tell you that often over the past 2 years I'm coming home from a session with neck & head pain. The neck pain is located high like near the base of my skull. I thought it wa...

Re: Vertigo while Kiting?

Maybe I shouldn't be admitting this but I too get vertigo while kiting - and I'm 34. It only happens soon after I launch and get riding - never in the middle or end of a session. It lasts maybe 30-60 seconds and it's gone. It doesn't happen every time, maybe 30-40% of the time. I chalk it up to bei...

Re: Vertigo while Kiting?

Not sure how to say it, but maybe you didn’t drink enough? Dehydration makes you dizzy and you could collapse? Alright... good simple advice. Dehydration is what caused this 5 years ago after a 50k bike ride (in Mexcio). I fooled myself into thinking I had enough water yesterday. These only happen ...

Vertigo while Kiting?

I wanted to ask a wide audience this question: I'm 70 years old.... active in kiteboarding for 20 years. Yesterday as I landed on a Mexico beach (solo) I was standing there and I looked up at my kite and then down at the sand and IMMEDIATELY turned super nauseous and dizzy. In a drunk state I stagge...

Re: Hand screw connecting mast to board

Related: Could someone here PLEASE share their solution for the Moses T-38 four bolt + weird nut Italian concept? Several times I've been on a fine sand blowing beach with all these parts, with the threads coated in lithium, and trying to have an extra set of required hands. Sucks. Edit: This is the...

Re: alu masts

Get the carbon, hands down. Yes it’s more money but you will end up there sooner or later Agreed. I'm with the 91 and the 101 Moses carbon. Aside from experimental fiddling on the beach with stiffness testing, I honestly could not tell you that I've ever felt a twist. 590... 633...and a Stingy wing...

Re: 8 different ways to self land your foilkite

Thank You So Much for this!! I winter here on a remote wide sandy Mexico beach. Almost all my kiting is solo. There's basically never an overpowered event, but I'm new to Souls and the landings have me nervous. There's a ton of great information here. My other kites are Clouds for any day that might...

Re: 5m or 4m?windrange and sweetspot?

If you are already enjoying strutless, I would say that I'm perfectly happy with my 3.7 Cloud D in higher winds. I'm 72kg and I save my 3.7 for trips to the Columbia River Gorge and 25+ mph winds. Rarely overpowered and if I am it's beer-30 hour.
