Re: Duotone 2021 Clickbar for foiling

Yeah this was exactly my experience too, I was hitting the throw stopper on my foiling tacks and it was really putting off my weight shifting so I had someone make up a 65cm throw for me for the click bar and its way better. Very nice now. Will post a pic of what they made up for me. I also use the ...

Re: FS Soul 12m with Clickbar

I have a click-bar I use with my foil kites sometimes but the power lines have been converted to have a longer throw (65cm) and to connect as a low V - and no safety (suicide mode). In this configuration it works really well, you just need to tune the leaders to the right length for the right amount...

Re: Flysurfer is going to beat fishnets? (Release of VMG2)

I should also note that I saw a VMG2 13m flying for the first time in overpowered conditions (15-20kn i think) and it looked really good. The person flying it noted after that the huge published wind range seems to be true so maybe the top end is good and stable and bottom end is not. The second tim...

Re: Flysurfer is going to beat fishnets? (Release of VMG2)

So has anyone else seen VMG2 at their local spots? Or even seen some footage. I have lined up next to VMG2 at my local spot and it seemed fast but it also looked unstable whilst gybing and water-starting. Overall it didn't seem to fly well, but maybe it needs better conditions or different technique...

Re: foot switching - all the video's are photo shopped, right? advice please

mister-z description of this is awesome, I had to learn this without a great description like that but now I can foot swap this description is great. My challenges with foot swaps continue as i am now learning race gybes and tacking, but the concept applies to both. With the race gybe you actually c...

Re: F-One Halo tuning advice needed and line plans?

Connor doesn't really show how to stretch them back but I did it by attaching to a snap-shackle and connected to my car. As someone said you can kinda feel how much they should stretch back to and then match that all three are even. After I did this my halo went back to flying like new and I've seen...

Re: I bought a Flysurfer Pulse2 6m...

I took this kite out again recently in some crazy wind, people were getting dragged around and racers were struggling on their smallest kites so I got the 6m pulse 2 out of the car as i keep it under the seat and it performed again. I reckon it might even be a bit out of tune but it doesn't matter i...

Re: Highest performance (race) current model kite that doesn't require special handling?

Forgot to mention I also have bought a Diablo ver 4 brand new at clearance prices, they seem pretty awesome but it will be way more of a handful, but I figure I'll be using it for high wind seabreeze summer racing so hopefully the ultra-high aspect shape won't result in too many swims when I drop ta...

Re: Highest performance (race) current model kite that doesn't require special handling?

I have been looking at all the same kite and I have flown a few and I own R1 ver2 kites, but then someone offered me a 19m Halo really cheap and its amazing! I like it so much I just bough a 15m, but I also tried the Sonic3 twice and was trying to make my mind up. Both the Sonic 3 and the Halo are j...
