Re: Compare Groove Skate and Pro?

The Pro sure does look nice! Price is not so different between the 2. Go for it!

Re: Moses SABfoil

Hi,
New 430 stab is available. Any thoughts on how it should compare to the old bent tip 425?
Guess no one has it yet for a review?
Thanks.

Re: Question for those 3D printers out there

Sorry, but I would say not a hope in hell. Yes the new CF materials are great but you would have to make it so large in section to support the weight (remember it needs to not flex under your entire body weight) that it would be impractical. Not to mention you wouldn’t be able to print it in one pic...

Re: Low volume/twin tip construction boards

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, lots to think about. I guess this all started from 2 lovely swims I had recently. Other foilers on larger boards (more skilled as well) were up and going and I was struggling to get the board to surface. A couple of knots more wind and all would have been ok. O...

Low volume/twin tip construction boards

Hi All, I’m looking at purchasing a slightly larger board, something around the 130 length. Have been riding a relatively high volume groove skate, thought it was a 120cm but just measured it and it’s actually a 110cm! I have got hooked on foot straps despite learning strapless and would like to go ...

Give DIY a go, it’s not hard and lots of fun for no wind days.

Re: Custom made quick release

Maybe a bit more of a description would help?
The one that comes to mind for me is infection, it is the one that attaches to your harness not bar.

Straps

So I have seen a few comments recently regarding straps on a foil board, mostly about keeping them lose so you don’t get stuck. But what is lose? To me a big open “loose” strap is just a good way for your foot to slip further in and really get stuck! I have heard of some people making them tight on ...
