Travel dispatching 1 (regular) luggage - possible?

I didn't get into winging yet, and maybe this is a pipe dream, but would it be possible to fit: - inflatable board (something like the gong hipe 5'1'') - 5m wing - 90cm wide front wing, 90cm long mast, fuse and stab , all into 1 (almost) regular piece of luggage? I was thinking of something like thi...

Re: Anyone tried foiling with a wing?

I find that kites cannot handle onshore wind and foil wave riding. They all fall out of the sky and you send a lot of time worrying about the kite and not on wave riding. -- Gunnar From your videos I assume you're no longer with flysurfer, but did you get a chance to ride the peak4? It really is a ...

Re: Game changer - Onewheel teaches how to turn on a foil

Is it patented and if so also in Europe? Would be nice to see other manufacturers, so people in Europe wouldn't have to pay such a huge premium, which is the case right now.

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Thanks Tom, I see it all like you. And to me, being hooked, even with a very long depower line and or locking bar on line has nearly nothing to do with unhooked. And due to dynamic wind window also a unhooked Peak can flap if you change angle of attack during moving it inside and boarder of wind wi...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

you all miss dynamic changing place where kite pull you. This give you additional freedom = stoke. I dont tried it with peaks but i tried it with other kites in past. About peak drift vs AOA. I never noticed that changing AOA change peak drift radicaly. There is no AOA on Peak which make him sit to...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

SS drift well because low inertia and low L/D. they drift equally well regardless AOA /to the extent/ Bit of contradiction there, since at low AoAs the L/D decreases drastically (drag dues to flapping) I would call useful drift is the one that allows the kite to go along downwind, accompanying the ...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

pull the trimmer, hook of and have the best wave session you can expect :thumb: Ok so you do depower the kite just before unhooking? As we know the main reason single skins drift so well when I riding aggressively towards them is canopy flutter at low AoAs, so I would suppose unhooking without firs...

Re: Unboxing: Moses Aluminium Foil Kit

I'd be more worried about the plate to mast connection. "Very little play" is different than "no play", which is what any decent setup should aim for.

Re: (almost) tool-less foil setups

 fair enough a bit of background... I foiled one season in 2015 with a v1 sroka foil and discontinued due moving to another country and family reasons. Still have it but it is a pain to assemble/disassemble (heard the following versions are easier though), am currently in the market for somethi...
