Re: guadalupe boat charter

Hi,

It is a French island.
You have plenties of charter companies as many French do some cruising often in the winter.
I recommend you do a Google search for "location voilier Guadeloupe" (which is the translation for sail boat renting). Then you contact the charter companies by email in English.

Re: Load & pop on a Jimmy Lewis TT

Pop is not only a matter of speed and edging. The kite movement has a very important in the pop. Unfortunately, international tutorials do not explain it. I recommend you looking at this french tutos: https://youtu.be/fOQ_3LYQSS4 https://youtu.be/LoXOZs9Vn1g To perform a pop: - you get a good speed ...

Re: Jumping - what can I do to improve? (with short video attempts)

Agree with cor. The first jump concept should be to create a very short and explosive front line tension with some speed. You should edge hard at the same time that you are sending your kite to 12. Currently, you are just sending the kite with almost no edging creating only one third of the line ten...

Re: Kitesurfing France Atlantic coast

Consider Leucate, Beauduc and l'amanarre near Hyères in the South of France or Wissant in the North. You could have some good wind and beautiful spots in French Brittany Coast or in Normandy (spots in Cotentin near Cherbourg). However in the summer it is a bet as you can have good wind or no wind du...

Re: Why sheeting in reduce power?

It is a matter of angle of attack between the wind and the kite. There is an optimum angle in which the kite moves very well and is lively. To find it, you need to sheet out centimeter per centimeter a few seconds. If you see your kite is more lively, you got it. If you loose power, you sheet in a l...

Re: What am I doing wrong while mid-air? (video link)

With the height you are reaching right now (small), you should land smoothly. Be sure that during your jump and when landing, you keep your bar sheeted in fully. This will stabilize you. When landing redirect your kite from 12 to 1 while pointing downwind. About the jump, you should send your kite f...

Re: north neo 2018, back stall trend

Compare your kite bridles with another neo kite from 2016 to now.
Otherwise buy some pigtails in order to adjust your back lines or release some centimeters for your back lines as you have some knots to adjust them in the Duotone bar.

Re: Is a 2020 Fone Bandit compatible with a North Trust/Quad bar?

Both use a high Y. Therefore you can use your Duotone bar with Bandit. However, you need pigtails as connectors are different.

Re: Eleveight RS V5 : Any info?

Bullshit ! The new model is far better than the previous one.
We always get this sentence from brands and sponsored people.
Give us facts: how the kite reacts, what wind range, what practice, how it turns and loops and so on

Re: Pads/straps for Duotone Jaime 2020?

Go for Naish Apex. It is the reference in terms of pads and straps and I know people who use it on Duotone boards.
I tried once a Duotone Select SLS 2021 using Entity. I don't like this straps. I look like fragile and I do prefer usual scratchs that I believe more secure than their bindings.
