Re: Duotone quality - Evo SLS 2022

I am sorry but I really don’t buy your story. It’s impossible to get this wreck just jumping. Tell us the truth dude. Been working at Cabarete for few weeks now and this happened to 2 kites (I will not say the brand but not Duotone) and both kites got stocked in beach waves pulling the students. It ...

Re: best board for jumping in chop

Today I saw the difference between my boards in rough water. Normally I use my small board (Shinn Bronk 135) to jump and have fun and my big board (Jaime SLS 142) for low wind session. I am in Cabarete right now, nice wind and kind of rough sea, I didn’t really have fun with the small board but hey,...

Re: Lieuwe shotgun beginner

You will not regret it, you are buying a good board. At 70kg, 138 will be perfect. I am 63kg and my board for strong wind is a Shinn 135 and for lower wind I ride a Jaime sls 142 or a surf board and i am very satisfied.

The only time I went to Cumbuco, the lagoon was gone to sea after heavy rain.

It looks bigger, doesn’t it !

Re: IKO kiteboarding instructor

Hi, you can do assistant and instructor courses separately if you plan to work as an assistant to gain experience but schools offer to do both in 2 weeks including first aid. Most of the theory is in the assistant course. At the instructor course you will have a little more theory but you will have ...

Re: Why Kitesurfing is Not Only About Kitesurfing

Very well said. I am an old retired canadien and I am a kite instructor level1. I like to work there and there for a short period of time and I don’t do it for the money, I only do it to pass my passion to other. Unfortunately, I’ve seen schools who really don’t give a §[¥&#$ about theirs students, ...

Re: TT choice for less wind but always chop

My small board is a Shinn Bronk Luigi 135, very light board, but for light wind a have a Duotone Jaime SLS 142 and I am very satisfied with it, I weigh 63kg or 140lbs.
