Re: Riding Toeside on a hardshell harness - feel rib pain/sore after

Thanks for the very pragmatic responses everyone! :D
Ribs are feeling better after 2 weeks, it does seem it was muscle and not bone bruise or anything bone related.
Unsure if I know the exact cause but definitely hard ridding for a long period of time that I'm not used to is part of it. :thumb:

Riding Toeside on a hardshell harness - feel rib pain/sore after

Hey - I had a really long kite vacation. Part of which I did a few toeside rides and learned toe side. The side of my ribcage opposite the kite that would be toeside hurts very badly, and has for a week. Could this be from my hard shell harness (medium flex) while riding toe side. Or is it likely fr...

Clark Dry Lake, Borrego Springs, LA/SD anyone ever kited?

Hi - has anyone ever landboarded/kited out at Clark Dry Lake?

Looks doable with a South wind.

I'm looking to get out there as it's close to LA/SD

North Valve - Airport v1 Inflation valve on Rebel 2015 kite. Leaking

Hi All - I have a 2015 North Rebel with an Airport v1 inflation valve. I unfortunately left my North original hose in a safe place in a storage unit, and won't be able to get back to it until later this year. I was using a standard hose the last few months, and it worked off and on but would leak ai...

Re: white shark

I've done a lot of research on Great White Sharks in the San Francisco Bay Area, you might find it interesting. Yes, I admit it, I am afraid of sharks. https://www.iamnotaconsumer.com/post/we-curated-all-of-the-best-information-about-great-white-sharks-swimming-in-the-san-francisco-bay To summarize....

Thanks, I guess I'll just keep watching folks on the beach and try doing bar and board in same hand.

Carrying your inflated kite up the beach. With Bar, lines, and board

I have always walked my kite up the beach by flipping it over and putting it over my shoulder or under my arm. I see other people do this way more effectively. I can't find advice on this anywhere. I've seen some people take their inflated kite, put it over their shoulder and attach their leash to t...

Re: Down Loop practice

Hey all, had a super kite day, got my first loops on my 6m. Wind 10mph to 15mph. I'm around 185lbs. Started at 12 or 1pm and dropped it counter clockwise. Felt very safe and didn't get too much power with loop. Trick for me was: 1) Pulling in the bar hard and holding it there while I crank my hands ...
