Re: Possible to go downwind faster than the wind?

in fact, the question has not a simple answer and raised a very interesting debate recently on YouTube (Veritasium's channel)...

Re: The Best Smart Watch for Kitesurfing - Our Kite Life

The polar chart is amazing! I like to compare my tt and hf rides here on our local spot using the polar chart ;) Aleks, something easy that I was thinking.... maybe the app (woo+GPS, the app that doesn't need the sensor) could vibrate when maximum speed is beaten like what happens when we're in a bi...

Re: The Best Smart Watch for Kitesurfing - Our Kite Life

Laurie with great content as usual! I've been using a Fenix 6S that replaced a previous 5S. I'm pretty addicted to Garmin watches. I only miss the LTE feature. For kitesurfers it would be a safe feature but only a few Garmin models have... @Aleks is it hard to include VMG metrics on the Woo app? I s...

Re: Duotone Rebel SLS 2022

For the KOTA riders, it all about sponsoring . I don't think it would matter that much to them if they were riding XR or Rebel. Ok... but I've always thought weird that Duotone team riders never use their big air kite on the big air competitions... Aaron, Reno, Tom, Lasse ...they usually prefer the...

Re: Duotone Rebel SLS 2022

The Orbit doesn't really jump th...

For some reason the Rebel SLS only lost ~100g per size (~3.5%), while all other SLS kites lost ~300g (~10%) per size. Wonder why?
Duotone doesn't know how to make lightweight kites. They should learn with Ozone :D
