The cracking in the gold is not a big deal. The gold layer is only a UV protectant, it does not affect the strength.

It doesn't look great but it only happens after lots of use. My first gen Roam and Flite are still not cracking but I have seen it in our shop on higher hour wings and kites.

I run an Aluula repair center and have snow kited with Aluula. I have not noticed any affects of the colder temps on the fabric.

I have had some samples of the Aeris fabric in hand, ots very exciting. I repair kites and wings. This canopy material is incredible. Not sure how the sample I had stacks up against the production version but I was not able to rip it by hand. Incredible. Not good for the kite repair shop

It depends who does the repair. At our shop (Comox Kite Repair) we offer a lifetime warranty on our fabric repairs. If done properly it will be trouble free.
