Re: Off shore winds, yes or no?

As mentioned, This question only applies to Wing Surf ( not Kiting or kite foiling ) and where’s there’s enough volume in the board to paddle back. Thanks for the replies guys 👍 Paddeling into the wind and chop towing a wing can't be that easy???? In theory, if you're not too far offshore there is ...

Re: Which surf board?

Yeah, they always sell out, you just have to wait until their next container arrives with restock and order fast. Usually it's less than 1 month. I do finance in an international manufacturing biz and this seems....suboptimal? Maybe when you get in touch for your commission mention that I could hel...

There was a fried chicken joint in Augusta, GA called "King of Wing". They really did know how to fry chicken.
Hahaha, solid. The key is to avoid the fast grown woody breast birds.

Re: wing foil project

Hey! I'd love the files...or patterns with dims would be even better. I'm a builder/tinkerer but not a designer. Have a spare kite and a sewing machine that could probably reproduce this if I had the rough dimensions. Is that something you'd be willing to share? Thanks! hi kollac. I share my files,...

Re: Build an own stabilizer?

There's an older gentleman on Youtube (Rob Rock Windsurf or something) who has videos on building foils for a windsurfer without vacuum bagging. He builds super simple plywood jigs ("molds") and clamps the laminate between some poly and the ply jigs. You're right - a stab would be easy to build. I a...

Re: Pocket Razors

Scaling up to go commercial? :) Nice work. Wish I was closer and could just buy one from you. I can try to build something myself but it'll be a ton of work for sub-TomW results!

Re: Kite Foil for Beginner

I'm not sure what to advise as I am not nearly qualified to offer any such thing. I can share some experience, however, at least for perspective. I started kiting literally 12 months ago. Started foiling behind a jetski about 3 months ago. It was on a Slingshot WF2 softtop (4'10'' some volume) with ...

My ghetto split board. Holding up to use.
Haha, I get why...but still find it a bit funny that you built a split board and then put the entire thing fully assembled with mast attached into the back of your wagon :D

Nice work on the board, of course!
