Re: Re-sealing wetsuit's seams?

I've used Aquaseal for both wetsuit repairs and re-sticking valves. Worked great for me. Same thing here. I've used the McNett Aquaseal glue for repearing my wetsuit (a 2015 Mystic Voltage). You have to apply it carefully and not too much glue at the same point. At first I thought that pouring a lo...

Re: GKA Distance Battle 2020 - Updates

Congrats to Capucine !! She was very impressive and she's only 14 !
I thought Camille Delannoy was more technical than Pedro Matos, but he had too much crashes (the triple frontroll is great). I don't understand why he submited this video knowing that half of his moves were crashes.

Re: how to make a line set out of Q-power

I have a question about lines resistance (max load). When a brand says (for example with Slingshot data for a set of lines https://www.slingshotsports.com/4-line-kite-replacement-line-set ) : "4 lines, 2, 800 lb Inside Lines and 2, 500 lb Outside Lines" I understand that each center line has a maxim...

Re: GKA freestyle event, Commentary.

I only watched the strapless female semi finale, and I thought it was fine. Joe was alone and could benefit from a second commentator for a more dynamic and lively commentary. But the guy did a good job and I found him objective and adding some interesting notes, anecdotes and informations about the...

Re: Slingshot 2021 Sentry V1 Bar (any beta?)

Fool Proof Visuals: The color scheme follows industry standards with red leader lines, red pigtails and red safety loops all on the left. Slingshot logos are positioned so you know you are holding the bar correctly when you can read them. IMHO ginormous blunder on Slingshot part. Can you read them ...

Re: Shared Kite Range Him & Her

I ride and share a quiver of Rally with my girlfriend : 12-9-7 m² it works well when the wind is higher then 14 knots. If I could buy my quiver now, I would keep the same size but different model according to the size. The Rally 12 is not a good light wind kite (5 struts is too heavy). - For the 12 ...

Re: Slingshot 2021 kite boards?

I really hope they modify the Rally GT shape/design. In my opinion, the Rally GT is too close to the 'Z' and aimed toward beginner. The Rally GT design should replace the Z. Because I think their line-up lack a freeride/versatile 3 struts kite (such as the EVO, RS, Pivot, Reach... which are the best...

Well, between waxed lines and warm weather, I'd probably choose the sunny beaches !

Re: waxing kite lines

Next time you kite in the tropics with this setup you'll discover the error of this wax concept. Attracts sand like glue, then with each use of your control bar you're grinding this sand into the weave of the cords. Destroyed mine. It was a very hard Bow Wax at 60 degrees.. a sticky mess at 85 degr...
