Re: Slingshot sentry bar feedback needed

Unfortunately I have some more bars with thinner loops (that fit perfectly the antal ring). Switchibg every session would be annoying.

Re: Slingshot sentry bar feedback needed

I need to slim down/sand off a couple of mm from the chicken loop of the sentry bar. Otherwise it doesn't fit into my antal friction ring which I use for my rope harness. My other bars have slimmer chicken loops. Do you how, what is inside the loop and if I won' t damage anything if I get rid of a c...

Re: Slingshot sentry bar feedback needed

Bit biased however the V1 ate the centerlines especially with loops. With the V1.1 this problem is solved and everything goes smoothly through the center hole. I’ve been using 2 bars together with my wife for 1 year now and they still work great. The auto swivel keeps working like it should and doe...

Re: Slingshot sentry bar feedback needed

Thanks for your comments. My biggest concers are the auto rotating swivels. Do they still untwist without issues after a couple of years? No wear and tear? What about sand and salt in the bearings, no problems?
Btw, can get rid of the chickendick for a use with rope?

Any particular reason why you didn't mention the brand with the biggest portfolio of foils?

well you have to stop kiting. Are you adjusting your trim on every tack? Just stop and make a knot.
When riding in waves I often adjust the the trim on every second tack. When going outside, I am riding fully powered to gain high but when arriving back to shore, I ride the waves fully depowerd.

Re: Dangerous depower rope (below bar)?

Is it possible to tie one handed an overhand knot, could you explain?
Are there any recommandations for best and strongest velcros?
Thanks a lot
