Re: I Need Help Choosing a Board

The Naish Monarch is really popular around my local spots. I couldn't get one, so when my lovely Airush Apex took off to Sweden I bought the Naish KL Pro version of the Monarch. I don't really like it, so it's for sale again. I also bought the F-One Trax HRD Lite Tech. Really enjoyable board! If pos...

Re: Experiences different bars on Naish Pivot

I'm using an Airush Core Cleat bar for my Naish kites. Bar throw and trim is pretty much the same as the Torque BTB I also have. I just had to shorten the front lines one knot on the trim above the cleat. You can lay them next to each other and measure total trim, and if it's less than the Torque yo...

Re: Naish 2021

PS. How do you rear line flag out with the current Torque bar? Is rear line flag out just not a thing anymore? Exactly. I believe the only bar where you could do a rear line flag out was the previous Slingshot bar. Everybody is on front line safety. My 2008 Airush bar was using one front line when ...

Do you know that the Torque 2 is only ATB? Personally, I could never quite decide which I like better. I use the trim very seldom tho, so that is probably why I don't care much.

Re: 2020 Pivot or any Naish Kite with Cab Bar

I'm using an Airush bar for my Naish kites. I just swapped the pigtails on the bar. The colours mismatch, but since I'm the only one rigging it, it doesn't matter.

Here's a good vid showing the AV8 14m's hang-time:

I guess slowing the video down helps improve airtime

Re: Naish Boxer 2021

Hi Suferduude, I have ridden the Ultra but Windigo nailed it in his response re your query. I am happier with the 9m S25 Boxer as it is quicker and turns more axially than the 19/20 10m. As Windigo explained, the Boxer is more suited for all-round riding..... excels above a foil without a doubt but...

Re: Naish 2021

I really hope they bring back a BTB trim option... They never took it away They have now. The Torque 2 is only available as ATB. What I don't get is the leash attachment. I think it's super to have it near the chickenloop, so you can run suicide until you release, and then it's "normal" with one fr...

Re: Naish Boxer 2021

Any chance you tried an Airush Ultra? I'm looking for a 10m kite to light wind foil (Gong Allround Alvator), and I can't quite choose between the Boxer and the Ultra. Several tests says the Ultra is lighter, but has more flutter, so I guess it's a matter of what is most/least desirable. I have a Pi...

Re: Naish Boxer 2021

I rode a 10m 2020 Boxer on the Naish BTB 55 Torque Bar for a while. I rode on a surf foil mostly from 12 thru 20 knots. It’s comfortable range was 12-16. Found the kite was a bit sluggish to turn as I’m use to smaller kites. I test rode an S25 9m in around 11 knots and found it a much quicker kite ...
