Re: Duotone lines still poor quality?

Interesting that there's no mention about this in any of the correspondence in this thread?

You may also want to check your serial number here: https://www.duotonesports.com/en/kiteboarding/more/service/safety-notification-trust-bar Seems like Duotone have a problem with their click bars? Haven't seem them talk about it publicly but you can check your bar on their website if you need a new...

Re: Movin away from Duotone to a new Wave Kite

Definitely worth trying the Drifter for waves and surf-freestyle, also is an amazing foiling kite due to its drift. So much drift in the kite and super stable when the winds are less than perfect. Since they changed it to their new LE material makes it slightly lighter also. One thing I really like ...

Re: Cabrinha contra 1 strut 9m vs 11m

Guys, good discussion! I have 9 and 11m contra, I know overlap exist. but decided to have it extra 11 for super light wind like 8-10 knots. I have 100 kg.also I have bought Drifter 7m for stronger winds. frankly I have not tested too much my new setup just due to the winter. I saw also people with ...

Re: North reach vs cabrinha switchblade (3s vs 5s)

Moto X and Switchblade are now the same construction. Moto X Apex is their Ultra HT material that was used in the Nitro last year, think it's the same material Duotone have just moved to with their SLS kites.

Re: Cabrinha contra 1 strut 9m vs 11m

I'm 65KG and generally just use the 9m, although in sub 10 knots you do get a touch more out of the 11m. Also can use a slightly bigger front wing to give you that extra low speed lift. Absolutely love the Contra's for foiling, they're so efficient and never back stall :D

Re: North reach vs cabrinha switchblade (3s vs 5s)

The new 04 Switch is definitely worth trying. It feels way more sporty in my opinion yet still offers tonnes of low end power which is what I loved in the older switchys. Some of this appears to be down to the new LE material they're using although sounds like it's also had a complete redesign of th...

Re: Cabrinha Bars differences

My partner absolutely LOVED the COS on a recent kite holiday when she tried it out during some lessons. The shorter length release makes the bar biting point come closer to you (used with the standard small loop) so really good for people with shorter arms, its a bit like the older recoil system in ...
