Long answer; depends upon a million things, size of waves, speed of waves, steepness, size of board, etc bla, bla, bla

Short answer; 9m
It appears we have an early candidate for Best Post of the Year Award. Bravo sir (although I find I can ride my 8m in basically anything but nuking).

Re: Cape Hatteras Rentals, Spring 2021

I've been there maybe 18 of the last 20 years end of April/start of May. It looks like almost a certainty I can't go again this Spring. Being from Toronto, it almost doesn't feel like spring without my trip to Hatteras.

I think it's total BS how the Real Estate companies are refunding these rentals.

Why using this plastic shit at all?
A double sleeve does the trick (preventing slipping through safety system) :

It's to prevent the knot from getting beat up with repeated powered up safety release (example school setting, beginner, etc)

Re: North Navigator Issue when flagging

Confirming Gunnar's post the plastic piece is a stopper that runs on the first 12m line extension. Talking with the team we're unsure how the stopper can cause a knot in the front lines. Can you share a photo of the knot? Our only thought would be some sort of freakish knot occurring when your kite ...

This feels like an emerging kiteboarding hotspot (or maybe already emerged!). Please post your experiences and let us know how the trip went!

Re: Mystic Majestic vs Mystic Majestic X: differences in fit and comfort

Well now, that was not what I expected! Hung on a Mystic Majestic X waist harness with a rope slider Stealth bar for a while and was surprised by the support that the harness gave to the lower back, the hard back really does spread load very well. Never expected that. The problem? The large harness...

Re: Kite companies - please stop the Air Style / Big Air hype!

At first this post gave me a smile on my face because I thought it was some kind of prank or joke. Now, 5 minutes later, I am sad because I am still looking for the punchline. This post is an emotional rollercoaster. As I started reading it I thought it was a joke post too. Oh well, 2 mins of my li...

Re: 2021/2020 Harnesses - Hardshells

Respectively I must say the Stealth has a very different shape and perhaps more importantly flex characteristics than the harnesses you mentioned. I'm not going to say better/worse, etc but I should point out their are significant differences. Regarding the shape, I'm referring to the shorter back ...

Re: 2021/2020 Harnesses - Hardshells

Just a heads up if you're considering any Dakine harnesses. If you can find it, buy it! Yes. Dakine is no longer producing Windsports equipment and that devision of their company is up for sale. Any inventory on the market is it until that devision is sold and hopefully production resumes. For now,...

Where can one buy replacement lines for the 2021 bar? They are shown as sold out on the North online store and I can't find anywhere that sells them. Thanks!
Stock available in USA end of December. Contact shop you bought it from of DM me please.
