Re: Looking for foil pumping advice

I think unless you are superman is impossible to pump without knowing how to foil first. Also not all foils are equally pumpable. Yours looks quite small for "free pumping"

Re: High wind foiling

3m peak is for sure best strong wind foiling kite ATM. But we need even smaller kite for more than 25 knts. BTW how much rig down to smaller front wing help to be more in control - what is your experience? Anyway - rig down wing wise have other detrimental consequences - you cannot pump anymore - an...

Re: Moses Bolt Torque?

7.7 Nm is quite a lot - it is 14 kg on 5cm lever - try to get feeling how much is 14 kg in your fingers. Anyway fuse is not steel its ALU alloy so it will be much less.
And no it is not easy to strip M6 without significant leverage.

Re: Moses Bolt Torque?

do not overthink it - use common sense - use fingers to get it reasonable tight not "hands"
M6 can handle a lot. For sure you destroy wing sooner than strip thread.
Have everything lubed is must though. Also build pressure gradually from bolt to bolt so you have even pressure.

Re: High wind foiling

When somebody talking about foiling in 35 knots all information you get is about somebody inability to measure wind.

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

9m FRS have about same price and low end than 8m peak. At least what i pay for it. There is law of diminishing return with bigger peaks. 3-4-5 are king sizes. People who likes more power likes bigger peaks and praise them - but there is little peak magic in bigger peaks except stability and user fri...
