I´ve ridden my Mako a year and can vouch for the locked and loose feel. Even leg pressure is possible, even turning board on front leg, driving tip around the turn, like a carving ski or snowboard. Mako is speedy too, ridden flat the board tracks and goes fast in a speed run. Forgiving when landi...

Adjust your trim so you have about 120 degrees angle between overarm and forearm. Puts less stress on elbows.

Do exercises as suggested on multitude of websites dedicated to tennis elbow(google it).

Take it easy in early season.

I have a Rapture 2 16,5 and 12. If i was unhappy with them i would sell em cheap or just toss em in a corner of my cellar. I´d be the first to trash them on this forum too. Stats: 75kg, intermediate, ride flat, choppy waves and for the most part cold conditions. We have gusty lowpressure winds, 1...

Wow, 10000 kites, perhaps a margin of 300usd a kite average. Thats a wopping 3million dollars. How many employees, giveaways, discounts? I hope they are liking what they are doing and are happy with their results, its not gonna make anyone into a very rich person. Those investors up in NYC are gonna...

Check these out if you don´t like the spaced out over styled look. Have used mine for 2 years and they are great. Inexpensive too.

only complaint is the strap made of Neoprene. I use a helmet and that holds em on.

Would you sell me a set of those fins and the hardware (in the board too) to attach to the board for a homebuilt?

oh wow, Skim boards.....flashback to 1966...7 years old, cutting plywood into round shape (don´t tell Dad i used the electric jigsaw) filing edges with rasp, painting a "logo" in red paint and then varnishing 3 times each side. My 10 year old pal Doug told me how to do it..... pic of me skimming ...

I was there 2 weeks in 2004-2005 over christmas and new year. Had bad luck with wind. ( who knows maybe it is better usually) Accomodation is scarce on the south shore at the kite spot. Funky-primitive place, slow service at the beach cafe: 1 1/5 hours for a cold sandwich, not just once either. Food...

Then i guess my Windwing Rapture 2s should not be prone to inversion. Bill Hansen mentioned once that he designed the kites to stall, not dive(invert). They have not pullys and the front and rear lines are not linked. Not that anyone cares, WW is most likely defunct, Bill Hansen and everyone jumped ...
