Re: Board rail design

Ive ridden and built boards that have surfboard type rails, much tighter of course. They are smoother ride, but less grippy . They dont catch up.
If youre doing radical concaves, perhaps the grip is there. try a tight rail rounded from deck to tight tangent break on bottom. Look at ocean rodeo makos.

I think SP is more fun, turns tighter, slower thru water but slashier, even ride it in choppy windy and lig...

Re: Kite board size

My advice, like most of it here. Get a good tt that will work in moderate winds, learn to ride it with confidence. Then get a board like a Slingshot anklebiter or north nugget. learn without the straps I started surfboard thing on a 5-8 thruster, a Celeritas, then after 3 yrs, got a Slingshot space ...

Re: Switch Element3 or Nitro4

86kg, 15 knots, I'd choose a 17m kite. There are some good 15-16m kites out there that would work too. 13 might work, but 15-17 will give you more hp

Re: Lightwind waveboard: Nugget, Space Pickle, F-one Fish?

I have had Celeritas 3 yrs and now space pickle 2 yrs. Ride same conditions as you. SP is better all around, take it out in 25 knots too insane chop, windwaves. Lots of fun. Turns 5x tighter, goes upwind better, better for popping airs, riding mush waves. Ride it strapless, got better, stiffer, fins...

Re: current kite bag style

1. North base camp duffle xl, or similar 2. Vacuum bags for kites 3. All your tech gear in duffle with 3 kites in v-Bags. Some clothes ( you don't need much) 4. Board in light bag with wetsuit and towel for protection. Pay for it. 5. Carry on for clothes and such. 6. Cram some stuff in your partners...
