Re: which strapless surfboard?

Discussion brought back from the dead, Any comments on the Naish strapless wonder GS? Also Core ripper 4 or order a custom Loyd flying pig version 2. I'm a big fan of Loyd (I have the Kite Rocket). The Ripper has the same PU construction, but it also has inserts for straps, so it won't have the sam...

Re: Favourite surfboard for choppy powered up conditions, but still small waves

Not sure how OR duke etc compare, but if you don’t need volume and slightly better upwind, flexy, thin directionals can be super fun! +1 for a lower volume, flexy, thin directional! Amundson Custom's FreeWave is so fun to ride and is super smooth in the chop, maybe the smoothest. It's built like th...

Re: Favourite surfboard for choppy powered up conditions, but still small waves

I was initially looking at the compact freestyle boards, bit notice a lot of them don't necessarily have that much rocker and quite a shallow concave. Maybe something like the F-One shadow might be better as it has a deeper concave and more rocker and a thin outline to cut through chop and hold the...

Some brands incorporate a dampening layer into their board construction. Here are some good options depending on the shape you want... Duotone's Pro series surfboards with the cork tops Duotone's Wam or Whip (cork) F-One's Shadow, Mitu Pro Flex, or Slice Flex (eva) North's Charge or Cross (eva) I'm ...

Re: Core Bar decision - Sensor 3Pro vs 2SPro

Besides the updated push-away release, I feel the other benefit with the S3 bar is having the "riding specific" chicken-loop options (freeride, surf, freestyle). Scroll down and you'll see their three options... https://corekites.com/us/accessories Imo the S3+ is plenty. No need for the pro version ...

Re: Surf Kiteboard size for 108lb girl

And Slingshot has a 5’0” Celero that is supposed to very good for a smaller lighter person. Haven’t ridden it yet so no promises but the size is right there. +1 for Slingshot's 5'0 Celero. Some other good options in a traditional shape would be F-One's Mitu Pro Bamboo 5'2, Naish's Global 5'2, and 2...

Re: Low rise booties - looking for feedback.

Looking for: -2mm max thickness -low rise -plain (not split-toe) models -ideally no straps - but these are easy to cut off -the least unnecessary rubber possible as rubber gets in the way of feeling the board... and creates hot spots between board's straps and skin. Of course, rubber is there for p...

Re: Flysurfer 6 vs Litewave Wing

Duotone has something new for 2020 that may be worth a look. https://www.duotonesports.com/kiteboarding/boards/twintips/ultraspike-textreme/ I've also heard some good things about Shinn's Superking Type C 160 https://shinnworld.com/products/superking My only gripe with the Wing is the tips would han...

Re: Better kite compression bag? Hate the single strap

Has anyone seen something like this with two straps like a backpack? Or does anyone have suggestions on a bag that can fit a kite or two, and a pump and harness strapped outside? Here ya go! https://ozonekites.com/products/accessories/travel-gear-bag/ or https://ozonekites.com/products/accessories/...
