Re: Boycott Real Kiteboarding

Been there multiple times, every time has been excellent w/NOTHING but friendly and professional service- A private lesson by Slezak changed the way I boost forever, and Matt Nuzzo himself stayed after the shop had closed to make sure my Kite was good to go for the next day, I've gotten incredibly g...

Re: NOT a happy Naish customer!

Check your struts- the cult has a weakness in the zipper on each strut- The pressure from the bladder is too much forcing the zipper to let go and blow out the bladder at that point- I experienced blowouts on both my cults- while riding, not good jimmy, not good.. Jeff at pro kite surf informed me h...

Re: Kitesurf bag airline check-in

I use a 156 snowboard bag, - Burton Board locker, fits my 150 Mako wide just fine, plenty padded- protects everything- 2 kites, bars etc, ski and snowboards is like golf gear- goes free so long as its under 50lbs. Of course I live in Denver so its never questioned as to why I'm coming or going with ...

Re: Easiest kites to relaunch deep water

Yep- I would have to say Flysurfer as well- at least in light wind, if its really cranking- almost any kite will relaunch, My experience last summer- It was one of my first water sessions with the FS and I was really nervous about the relaunch- as it so happened I was right next to a friend who was ...

Re: Shocking Flysurfer Ram Air Stability Problems in Gusts

PMU- I love that guy! if it wasn't for his whacky postings I wouldn't have gotten so interested in Flysurfers- Now I've sold all my LEI's and and ride nothing but my beloved Pulse 2's, What fantastic kites! Keep up the good work converting folks to Flysurfers Pump, Maybe Armin will start giving you ...

Re: A Foil Freaks XP with his new Tube

Oh, I'm sure Naish will replace the bladders etc- They actually blew on the struts, Naish placed the Zippers running parallel with the strut, when inflated that arrangement causes a lot of stress on that zipper and the stitching around the zipper itself blew out taking the bladder with it- Guys at t...

Re: A Foil Freaks XP with his new Tube

OK, So heres my experience this weekend, I decided to fly my New Naish Cults , within the first hour of the session my 12 hit the the water and I heard a large POP- Kite went limp in the water- no more 12-, no relaunch, no self rescue, get to swimmin.... So I pumped up the 9, rode about 2 hours brou...

Re: Corpus Christi vs South Padre Island

I'll be going down there myself on the 21st, Was planning on SPI since I've been there and know the area a bit better than Corpus- Is the wind range really that different between the two? Looks like the biggest kite I'll have along is a 12M cult paired up with a Mako 150 wide, is that gonna be enough?

Re: Anyone gone from Tubes to Foils???

I have a Flysurfer pulse 2 12 M, I initially got it for the snow and was going to stay on LEIs (Naish Cults) for water, But I have to say the more I fly it- I'm finding its the best flying kite i've ever had, with by far the best low end of any 12m I've ever flown. Since I live in Colorado and have ...
