Going to San Andres Island Columbia on Feb. 28 -Mar. 6 and can't find any reliable weather sites or wind data. Anyone have any info or have been there before? What size kites to bring? I was thinking a 12 and 16 but not sure about anything smaller?

Best place to kite and stay in Aruba

Looking at Aruba for the end of February and looking for the best flatwater riding spot and best place to stay. Strictly a kiting trip so I would prefer to stay right near a kiting beach??

Any ideas?

The wind range of this kite is awesome. I rode in 20 gusting to high 20's (knots). The kite was very ...

Chameleon 13 and Thruster 12

My comments are more for the Chameleon as I rode it for a half hour or so. The Chameleon is more like a bow with the depower but you don't have to 3 foot long arms to depower the kite. It has incredible pull for a 13. I only got to ride the Thruster for a few minutes as the wind was starting to fade...

I am one of these "rare posters" that you are talking about. As far as being a "rare poster", i'm from Canada and we have our own local forum so I only read through your forum and never make posts. I bought a board earlier in the year from Dimitri and kept his email in case I needed a kite or board....
