Re: Ozone Chrono: Standard or Ultralight?? (13m)

Definitely go for the 15m for a light wind kite. I have the Chrono V2 and it's an awesome light wind kite - it seems to hover in the sky in just 5-6 knots but once moving it generates surprising amounts of speed - I can blast around doing 20knots on a hydrofoil when other riders can't even launch a ...

Re: Advice for buying 1st Foil Kite

I have never used a foil kite before - but have a 15m Chrono 2 & love it.

If you have the cash, get a chrono 2 lightweight, as if you drop it in the water it is supposed not to sink as easily.

Re: Ozone Edge V9: Post Pictures & Information Here

lol Gunnar...only 19m !? Your old 9M V8 did 19m with bendy tips & unstable leading edge - but the V8 is fine & yes the V9 is marginally improved/feels "stiffer". Looking fwd to using the V9 in decent wind.

Re: Ozone Edge V9: Post Pictures & Information Here

Power on the beach means nothing, as these kites dont develop power without speed - this is power in a proper powerstroke that would tow you down the beach on your face! Great, so would you say the V9 develops a bigger power spike in comparison to V7 & V8 when you dive it..... ? No... generally it ...

Re: Ozone Edge V9: Post Pictures & Information Here

Used my 10m V9 today Foiling with 29m lines - the kite feels easier to use & go downwind than the V8.

Haven't got the 13m yet - but the 10m feels like it has more low end power than either the V7 or V8

Re: Trick to keep foil kite from stalling

if ure coming from a lei its a little different skill to a fly. . 1st thing i tell folks is to ease up on the bar grip. let the kite breathe and accelerate through the wind to generate usuable power. here is an inportant fact about foil kites -because of its bridle connection points they can go fro...

Re: Trick to keep foil kite from stalling

Chrono2, I hope. The Chrono and Chrono2 are not the same kite by a long shot. They should have changed the name to avoid confusion. I prefer the Chrono2 above any foil kite I have tried, though I have not tried the Flysurfer Sonic2. Yes :thumb: It's a beauty - 15m & can blast around all day long in...
