Waves

Maybe what I really want to know is if sailing downwind the kite has to be moved a lot or "stays relatively put with some power and control".

Sliding

I made myself a special spreader bar to use with a seat harness.
I soldered a stainless steel " 8 " ( don't know the name in english but you use it in climbing or hangglinding ) from the center of the bar to the side I toeside and slide the my iornhart back and forth.

light air

PL are good for gusty, I have seen, but waves not shure.
My first foil SA-19 is soon arriving so I'm no expert.
PL and Flysurfer are hard to get in South America.
Tubes are easy to get and sell used.

light wind

I wonder why some people treat designs as religion.
It is not Foil versus Tube, "C" versus Bows, Cristianity versus Islam.
Below 12 Knots foils are a better proposal.
For very gusty and waves bows or hybrid are a better proposal.
The rest is arguable, I like "C".

Speed2 19

Speed2 19 will be my next no wind kite for kitesurfing.
The only thing I havent figured out is if it is better to get regular fabric and a longer lasting kite or get the SA Skytex 27 version for smaller packing and not having the kite fall off the sky in 4 mph lulls.

SA2

Thank you all! From what I understood the lighter fabric is just to keep the kite in the sky in 5 knots lulls and has no percptible advantage from 6 to 12+ knots. Has anyone fallen an SA2 in surf? How many sessions are these kites suposed to last before steching etc? Is the Speed 2 19 fun to fly abo...

Flysurfer Speed 2 Silver Arrow Fabric Issues

Weighting 230 pounds and looking for a low wind kite the Flysurfer Speed 2 Silver Arrow is an option. Chemosavi and FredBGG say they are ok. Is the fabric of the light version too frail? Should one buy the regular S2-19 or the Silver Arrow? Are they fun at 12 knots? I had a X-4 18 that pulled like a...
